Yes, but Israel was the only nation that had a covenant with God (Exodus 19:3-6, Ephesians 2:11-12)

Yes, but you are anticipating revelation there.
Of course now we know that the nation Israel has rejected the Messiah.
But they had to be given a legitimate choice to accept him after Christ rose from the dead. Just because God foresaw Israel's fall in Romans 11:11, that does not mean he caused the fall to happen.
