There is NOTHING openly declared in the Bible saying otherwise.
If Jesus is always the same, & the Father declares in the OT He doesn't change, what about the Holy Spirit?
The ONLY time Jesus couldn't perform many miracles was because of the people's unbelief. That alone should speak volumes to the modern church.

Personally, I believe that these are "one and the same thing". When a person believes the Gospel and accepts Jesus as her/his savior they become a part of God's family for eternity. (Wow!!!) As such, our lives are supposed to reflect that condition. I don't think it is possible to express how we are to live better than what Paul wrote.

I think that it's just terminology. The baptism of the Spirit, baptism with the Spirit, being "born again" of the Spirit, etc. are all talking about the same thing. A person becomes a new creation. The "old person" dies and the "new person" is born.

This is completely false.

When a person receives the gift of the Holy Spirit in response to the Gospel (Acts 2:38) that is in fact the baptism WITH the Holy Spirit. The pouring out (outpouring) of the Holy Spirit on that person (Titus 3:4-7) happens at the time he is saved (justified). Titus salls this outpouring "which He shed on us abundantly".

Not one of the 3,000 Jews on the day of Pentecost received "a distinct experience" after they were saved. But they were all baptized by immersion. See Acts 2, where they were baptized with the Holy Spirit. However they (or as many of them who were present) were "filled" (totally controlled by ) the Holy Spirit when they all prayed in unison and then spoke the Word of God boldly. And when they had prayed, the place was shaken where they were assembled together; and they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and they spake the Word of God with boldness. (Acts 4:31)

There are many other passages which show that the gift of the Holy Spirit (which includes the "sealing") is also the "baptism" with the Holy Spirit. It cannot be otherwise. That we should be to the praise of his glory, who first trusted in Christ. In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that Holy Spirit of promise, Which is the earnest of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, unto the praise of his glory. (Eph 1:12-14)

Paul says that after you believed you were sealed with the Holy Spirit. Which means that the gift of the Holy Spirit was given at that time. This corresponds to Acts 2:38. Simultaneously the Holy Spirit "baptizes" the believer into the Body of Christ (1 Cor 12). And this also enables the believer to receive one or more of the gifts of the Spirit. So there is no need to come up with your own doctrine in order to promote false ideas about this whole matter.
