And yet the Apocryphal (Apocrypha = hidden, secret) were included in the first printing of the 1611 KJV Bible. Placed between the Old Testament and the New and for their historicity. As was the case with many other Bibles editions as well.

Today the NSRV, the NA Bible, and the Revised Standard Version (RSV) include the Apocrypha.

With anything like this I believe with the advanced technology and discoveries we have had since 1611 to further critique Biblical manuscripts including to the point I just do not see Apocrypha as legitimate or verifiable.

All I can say is I hold to the 66 books as inspired. Anything else should compliment the scriptures. If any other source adds or takes away then I believe God commands in scripture to resist it.

I know, without checking any references, that he studied at Moody Bible College, was a star student under Bruce Metzger (the premier Bible linguist of the late 20th century), was a promising apologist upon completion of his doctorate, and because of his own doubts, turned away from the Church. Now he's a professor in New Testament Studies at an Eastern college, and his lectures are the cause of many Christian students not only questioning their faith, but rejecting it. His books are used by atheists to support their position.

That is Lord Jesus in his glorious resurrected form in that passage, he is the Alpha and Omega, praise Jesus for eternity.

Jesus was always in glory for He is and was and ever shall be The Word made flesh. God.

Well Jesus is now in his fullness of glory after the resurrection. Jesus being a sort of forerunner to the fullness of the glory of the forms which the righteous will inherit at the day of the resurrection at the end. This is the great mystery of Paul largely expounded upon in 1 Corinthians 15.
