I agree with this.
This does not square with this:
”Therefore, from now on, we regard no one according to the flesh. Even though we have known Christ according to the flesh, yet now we know Him thus no longer.”
He is no longer Jewish. He died in the flesh and arose with an incorruptible body, not of the earth but of the Spirit. He is no longer of the line of Eber but only of the direct line of God. This is what His resurrection proved on earth: that He was from above.
In short: we do not have a Jewish Savior. God, the Son, is our Savior.
“Forasmuch then as
the children are partakers of flesh and blood, he also himself likewise took part of the same; that through death he might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil; and deliver them who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage.
For verily he took not on him the nature of angels; but he took on him the seed of Abraham. Wherefore in all things
it behoved him to be made like unto his brethren, that he might be a merciful and faithful high priest in things pertaining to God, to make reconciliation for the sins of the people.
For in that he himself hath suffered being tempted, he is able to succour them that are tempted.”
Hebrews 2:14-18 KJV
Jesus was actually born of a Jewish mother making him technically when he lived a descendant of Abraham , and David ( according to the flesh regarding his humanity )
“The book of the generation of
Jesus Christ, the son of David, the son of Abraham.”
Matthew 1:1 KJV
Notice Jesus the son of man’s geneology begins at Abraham
“
Abraham begat Isaac; and Isaac begat Jacob; and
Jacob begat Judah and his brethren……and
Jesse begat David the king; and David the king begat Solomon of her that had been the wife of Uriah”
…..and Jacob begat Joseph the husband of Mary, of whom was born Jesus, who is called Christ.”
Matthew 1:2, 16 KJV
Mary was a descendant of Abraham and David and Jesus was made of her flesh according to the flesh and his humanity I mean when he was born on earth in the flesh
“but when the fulness of the time was come,
God sent forth his Son, made of a woman, made under the law, to redeem them that were under the law, that we might receive the adoption of sons.
And because ye are sons, God hath sent forth the Spirit of his Son into your hearts, crying, Abba, Father.”
Galatians 4:4-6
The purpose was to deliver the gospel resulting in his spirit in believers calling us home to him our father in heaven.
He actually
became one of the people he had chosen an Israelite of the tribe of Judah in order to redeem them that were condemned under the law by sin. And also to offer salvstion to all people of the earth
“For it is evident that
our Lord sprang out of Juda; of which tribe Moses spake nothing concerning priesthood.”
Hebrews 7:14 KJV
“And he said, It is a light thing that thou shouldest be my servant to raise up the tribes of Jacob, and to restore the preserved of Israel: I will also give thee for a light to the Gentiles, that thou mayest be my salvation unto the end of the earth.”
Isaiah 49:6 KJV
Jesus also is the suffering servant foretold to come , the true lawgiver God promised to send . he’s
everything God promised in the Old Testament regarding the son who would be born in Israel to redeem them and to shine as the light of the world ( of the gentiles too ) and only salvation of God for all mankind
Some say “ Jesus is fully God and fully man “ it’s true and simplified way to say it it isn’t two people but one that fulfills both roles one on earth and one in heaven
