No one is dead to God dead people hear his word too and also have to answer

“For he is not a God of the dead, but of the living: for all live unto him.”
‭‭Luke‬ ‭20:38‬ ‭KJV‬‬

“Marvel not at this: for the hour is coming, in the which all that are in the graves shall hear his voice, and shall come forth;

they that have done good, unto the resurrection of life;

and they that have done evil, unto the resurrection of damnation.”
‭‭John‬ ‭5:28-29‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Gods word is what gives us a new heart when we accept the gospel ….
Dead people can't accept anything brother, remember we are dead in sin until God puts a new heart in us and His Holy Spirit, then we can accept the Gospel, "once blind but now we see" and yes the dead just like we were once, will rise first by the power of His Holy Spirit , Amen

“who shall give account to him that is ready to judge the quick and the dead.

For for this cause was the gospel preached also to them that are dead, that they might be judged according to men in the flesh, but live according to God in the spirit.”
‭‭1 Peter‬ ‭4:5-6‬ ‭

“For to this end Christ both died, and rose, and revived, that he might be Lord both of the dead and living. But why dost thou judge thy brother? or why dost thou set at nought thy brother? for we shall all stand before the judgment seat of Christ. For it is written, As I live, saith the Lord, every knee shall bow to me, And every tongue shall confess to God. So then every one of us shall give account of himself to God.”
‭‭Romans‬ ‭14:9-12‬ ‭KJV‬‬

“And he commanded us to preach unto the people, and to testify that it is he which was ordained of God to be the Judge of quick and dead.”
‭‭Acts‬ ‭10:42‬ ‭

“For Christ also hath once suffered for sins, the just for the unjust, that he might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh, but quickened by the Spirit: by which also he went and preached unto the spirits in prison; which sometime were disobedient, when once the longsuffering of God waited in the days of Noah, while the ark was a preparing, wherein few, that is, eight souls were saved by water.”
‭‭1 Peter‬ ‭3:18-20‬ ‭KJV‬‬

“And when he thus had spoken, he cried with a loud voice, Lazarus, come forth. And he that was dead came forth, bound hand and foot with graveclothes: and his face was bound about with a napkin. Jesus saith unto them, Loose him, and let him go.”
‭‭John‬ ‭11:43-44‬ ‭

Marvel not at this: for the hour is coming, in the which all that are in the graves shall hear his voice, and shall come forth;

they that have done good, unto the resurrection of life;

and they that have done evil, unto the resurrection of damnation.”

We sin because we obey the flesh instead of the spirit
We sin because we are sinners brother, our nature was to sin, just like dogs bark, fish swim, birds fly.... humans sin.
So when Gods grace gives us a heart to confess that we are a sinner needing to be saved, we are acknowledging to Him our state of being and Through the work on the cross, God is now just and faithful to forgive our sin nature.

This is why many get confused why they still sin even after they were saved. The nature of sin was removed and replaced with the righteousness of Christ. Just like when you cut the root off a plant the plant although still shows the same, it is slowly dying just like we are slowly dying to self.

Yes, we are dead until God calls us back to life brother, no other way to accept the gospel my friend.

John 3:18
“He who believes in Him is not condemned; but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.

You were already dead brother when you were born into this world but by the grace of God ONLY you are now saved!!

I'm not a sinner; speak for yourself. Our nature compels us to sin, but if we obey the spirit we will not sin.

The longings of the flesh compel us to sin.
Yes brother, the process of dying to self..(wants of the flesh) which is why we go through sanctification (holiness, set apart )

You and I once were sinners (sin nature) but no longer are due to what Christ did for us on the cross. Amen

No brother, Jesus took that from you in exchange for His righteousness

2 Corinthians 5:21
"God made him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God"

sin= nature
Christ did not become sin. He became a sin offering.

Brother, what do you believe God casted onto His only Begotten Son that caused separation between them for the very first time?
He placed the guilt for our sins on Christ, not our sins, which would be impossible to do because sin is not a thing; it's an act of rebellion.

There is no unique word in the bible in either the Hebrew or Greek for sin offering. The same word is used for both sin and sin offering

That's why 2 Corinthians 5:21 says Jesus who did not know sin (αμαρτίαν) was made a sin offering (αμαρτίαν). The first case means sin offering.

For he hath made him to be sin (αμαρτίαν) for us, who knew no sin (αμαρτίαν); that we might be made the righteousness of God in him. 2 Corinthians 5:21

The same is seen in Hebrews 10:8, in which the context is obviously sacrifices, where sin offerings are called sin (αμαρτίας).

Above when he said, Sacrifice and offering and burnt offerings and for sin (αμαρτίας) thou wouldest not, neither hadst pleasure therein; which are offered by the law; Hebrews 10:8

Christ did not die for you to save you from your lies and lusts brother, He died to save you from what caused you to lie and lust which was your nature, sin nature. This is a fundamental truth
He died so that we could receive the holy spirit that enables us to deny the flesh (sin nature) in order to do the will of God

Brother, sin is not just an action, sin is both qualitative and quantitative meaning....
We sin (quantitative) because we are sinners (qualitative)

Quantitative = what is produced (offences)
Qualitative = root of production (nature)

What i suggest for you to study from the bible is what dying to self means and also picking up our cross daily and following Christ.
When Christ died, He took our sin nature upon Him at the cross and in exchange gave us His righteousness. Now when you sin it is from the wants of the flesh that are slowly dying off. The Holy Spirit is at war with your flesh because you are now aware of what is a sin but your nature is no longer a sinner.

No brother, your theology is off... Once you repent and accept Christ into your heart as Lord and Savior, you received His righteousness in replace of your sin nature. Done deal, signed and sealed by the Holy Spirit as proof of payment... so to speak.

No he did not. You can't even define what the sin nature is that he could take it upon himself. The guilt for our sins was credited to him and his righteousness was credited to us.

If Christ became sin then he would no longer be holy. On the other hand, sin offerings were most holy and they are a shadow of Christ
