Then there is abrogation, so you need to know what came after something
historically because it changes what was said, or what is now applicable.
Yeah this is the most difficult part for me because they're turning the whole thing into a conspiracy.
They can be on the same level as an atheist and say that Jesus is not divine or something along those lines (and they do say that too), but to say that the whole crucifixion was an illusion?
That's how i know that i'm talking to a flat-earther basically.

And they believe we are committing shirk (blasphemy) to say Jesus is God's Son. They say God has no Son.

Yes, and this is because they approach things from a militaristic point of view because their leader was a military leader so when i talk to them they say "How can God die?".

But He didn't die that's the point! And He chose this option, i think, to grab the world's attention. Because who defeats death? Nobody BUT God. And that's how He showed His superiority! Not with a human affair, like war.

This is why they removed the part that He died, because their prophet (Mohammad) couldn't accept this from a militaristic win/lose point point of view.

And additionally Magenta, this is exactly why i'm not a big fan of David either because he had a lot of militaristic mindset too, but i don't want to get into that or change the subject.

I wondered which David you meant at first (LOL). Ah, well, David I love
despite his obvious failings because he was a man after God's own heart.

I would simply call them lost.
no one can come to the son unless the father draws them near.

Which means the father can allow a person to discover for themselves and it also should mean the father can keep those who are lost.

John 6:44-51 KJVNo man can come to me, except the Father which hath sent me draw him: and I will raise him up at the last day. It is written in the prophets, And they shall be all taught of God. Every man therefore that hath heard, and hath learned of the Father, cometh unto me.

Men can come to a knowledge that God exists through nature and conscience...Romans 1. But they cannot come to a knowledge of God...intimacy, until they are born again.
Knowing about, as opposed to knowing through experience.

Keeping the lost how? In the estate of "lostness"?

yeah sure buddy I have a lot to say about it,

Like the father putting a protective around you.

Or a light around you that you don't see but it's there none the less,

I could show you in numerous scriptures.

Then we could have a discussion on how people where saved before Jesus came in flesh.

Which again I could write a book on what I know,

But the chances are we may have some indifferences but that's ok. 😊

Sure, God puts a hedge of protection around His own.
And salvation hasn't changed. One can see salvation by grace through faith throughout the Bible.
I was asking about the state of "lostness", and what you meant in relationship to God.

I was showing how someone being lost, may be viewed as someone being lost to the father.

When anyone is lost we have to put God First, (the father).

God the father finds the broken to just like the son 😊

God the the father can keep the the broken in one pen and hand them to the son 😊

And vice versa

This verse:

For since the creation of the world God’s invisible qualities—his eternal power and divine nature—have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that people are without excuse.

is a very powerful verse because it has shown something which i realized myself that there are no atheists according to the dictionary version of the atheist which says they're in a "lack of belief" state.
There is no such thing as "Lack of belief" unless you're brain dead or unaware. What you have is a free-will choice to Accept or Reject God because through nature alone, any intelligent human is able to trace back origin questions and make a choice about how all this engineering marvel we call Universe, Existence and Consciousness is designed by a very powerful and supremely knowledgeable Creator.

Correctamundo. Nature itself testifies of the existence of God. But if you go back to the previous verse, the knowledge of God is also manifest in them. There are those who deny the existence of God, but they have to suppress this truth because God put the truth of His reality in them. But as they do, God gives them over to their reprobate minds and things get worse from there.
