You know you're getting old when.........

you see new faces at your old job, which are younger than you.

Time to move on..
 
... when the grass cutter sounds annoy you early in the morning.

You know you're getting old when....... the optimistic phrase "the sky is the limit" is replaced with the more realistic phrase "the dye is the limit" (meaning you only look as young as your hair dye will let you).
 
When the teens who were once part of your church youth group - which you were in charge of - now have kids in Sunday school.
 
At times I wonder if I am getting older when!... It is more tough to put on my off road motorcycle boots then actually taking the bike out for a tough off road ride. Too many times I decide not to take the bike out due to the fact! Dang boots are to tough to get on. LOL Really Not funny at all.:(

One way to find out! Put yourself to the test.
#1 Example!...1985 did 80 lb arm curls. Still do that today.
#2 Crunches!.. Last 5+ years, Did 450 to 600 crunches. 2 weeks ago, The norm is now 800 crunches. Did 1500 last week. Stopped only because I got bored.
#3 Hiking!... 28 years ago did a bunch of Advanced club hikes. Got back into club hikes 7 weeks ago. Usually 51+ Hikers showing up. My conditioning solo hikes were 5.1 miles. 1500 ft gain. Saturday Feb 4th. did my 2nd club hike. 10 miles 1100 ft gain. Both club hikes I was 2nd in line following the leader. Last hike I stopped on the way home and did my usual 5.1 mile 1500' elev gain hike. Total Hike for day! 15 miles, 2100 ft gain on two hikes same day.
#4 Offroading!.... Rarely take rest breaks on tough mountain trails of 2-4hr loops.

How does a guy know he may be getting older? Darn hair may start thinning. Too darn lazy putting on motorcycle boots. lol
Sad Part!.. I could only wish I put this much time and effort in Sharing in the word of God the last year. Sure feel good for an old guy though. :cool:

working at the computer all day gives you eye strain and a headache

zombie threads get resurrected... and you've forgotten them (even though you posted several times).
 
You know you're getting old when the oldies radio station is playing songs from when you were in high school.
 
U know your getting old when you find yourself drinking coffee and listining to ''carry on my wayward son" and other oldies..wait..no...im OLD XD

I get that frequently listening a local classic rock station................the only thought going through my mind is, "Def Leopard, Pyromania is NOT "classic rock".
