Misawo Okawa was born March 5th, 1898. She is the 5th person in modern history to reach 117 years of age. The last time a person made it to 117 was in 1997.

The dude on the far left is her 92 year old son.

Talked to my former mother-in-law today and she could not remember her age she asked me how old she would be on her birthday Saturday. I told her 85...So I guess when you don't remember how old you are you are getting old. Bless her heart...such a sweetie....
 
One thing I know now, a lot of faces I see have too many things in common with those I knew someday. They look like those I liked, knew or found. In fact, I have seen a couple of persons who looked to be clones of those I knew and wandered if they were their sons or daugters, because they looked to similar to several I have met... Last year, when I was shopping in a supermarket I looked at someone I knew I studied with in high school. I couldn´t recall her name, but I asked if she studied my high school, same address I went... I was right! We were not close friends, but her face (and body) changed too little that I knew she was one of those classroom mates.

I hope God allow me to keep this good memory and, by the way, those things I have forgotten, can be recalled by those I have hurt or impress somehow: Just a fornight ago, someone reminded me things I shouldn´t have done (I have done real bad things I´m not proud of)

Hey, I'm pretty sure Tourist is going to tell you this, but I'm going to tell you this too.


Don't you go checking out early now. Get lots of sunlight or, I don't know, vitamins or something. That's what everybody needs right? Vitamins?
 
As a child I always thought 30 was old!
Now that it's about five years away, I don't think it's old.... :P
