Think about it...

What is there to smile about lately?

millions of babies every year are slaughtered.. old people are encouraged to off themselves so as to make a "better" world for younger people

We the People have lost the vote... (unless repairs are made to the system, to the corruption)

So what's with Kamala's constant happy look?

I can think of only one person who is greatly happy..

Satan

Jesus said we Christians would be "hated by all"

Blessed are those who mourn

nothing to celebrate in this sick world... except being on the pathway that leads to Something Better

She reminds me of Smiler from the Emoji Movie. Always grinning and "happy" as she's plotting your death. Smiler.png

That said, there are plenty of verses in scripture about having a joyful heart. Even in these hard times we're to "count it all joy" James 1:2

And Proverbs 17:22 says "a joyful heart is good medicine, but a crushed spirit dries up the bones."

It's easy to feel defeated but we shouldn't give up on joy.

Not "happy" but a fake facade. When you are an imposter, you need a false front to keep up the pretense that you are legit. Kamala laughs to hide the fact that she is clueless. And each time she opens her mouth she shows that she is clueless and also a liar.

And you are right, There is absolutely nothing to be happy about on earth. And that is why your focus should be on the Kingdom of God.

Because not everyone's happiness is dependant upon what's going on in the world. A person whose thoughts are trapped only on a large scale, or those whose focus is only on their immediate environment, both have an incomplete view of life.
Misery does not equal spirituality, quite the opposite. And taking a constantly negative view by only paying attention to one part of life, then cherry picking scriptures that match the tone you create does not prove anything.
The true source of your misery is not the world around you, but your lack of completeness as a person.
People in the Bible were also grieved by the world around them, but they did not make that an excuse to be miserable, nor to try to make those around them miserable.

Makes me think of the Penguins of Madagascar:

they seem to always do this whenever trying to cover/hide something.

I have often been "crushed in spirit" but hey, that's what Scratch wants... and

He can burn in Hell forever...

lol... I am NOT happy BECAUSE my focus has been on God for some time now

I mean... when u start seeing things as God does... which being in Christ allows u to do to some extent

well... seeing things God's way can make u one miserable person... bc u look around and see just how FAR from that everything seems to be...

it's hard to be happy much

when u think of the innocents being slaughtered.. when u think of all the wasted talent.. all the different personalities and talents and all.. down the abortionists' drains

Then there are other depressing things: the stolen election... America being toast

Do try to cheer up, You have to understand God is big enough to cope with all the issues of the world.
where not. its as simple as that.
God as seen it all befor. God is eternal and God is light. so i can only imagine that he knows how to cope.

His promise is that our best is ahead of us, in and for eternity, and we know God keeps his promises
Let not your heart be troubled, neither be dismayed.

and God does not apparently step in when people want to sin egregiously. To me, God almost has nothing to do with it.. except in the spiritual realm

Right now, he has given Earth to humans

If they do right, then things go relatively smoothly
If they do wrong which they always do... we have misery

and God does not stop any of this, that I can see. Some day He may.. but who knows when that day is

only after death do true Christians experience real joy, happiness and peace

until then... we have hell on Earth

thanks to those who hate God... which is most people

Joy is one of the fruits of the spirit we can operate in, I and most others who walk in faith experience joy.

I thought Satan was the "ruler of this world" until Christ returns?

How about the great salvation that cost Jesus everything to win for us? How about the victory over the world, sin death and Satan? We should be so full of joy and peace that the world sits up and takes notice.

Correct. Lord Jesus has given us His victory over the world. We are meant to enforce the victory of Christ on God's enemy, Satan. Satan will be cast out eventually. The job of the church is to make it sooner rather than later.

With Christ indwelling the believer you have been given his authority over the devil. The real shame of religions is the failure to teach how to minister and teach His widely available desire to heal all who come to Him.
We must be in relationship, not religion.
