Funny how you call others sanctimonious while puffing yourself up every time you speak.

And if you think your daily life isn't already full of pagan influence then I suggest you stop preaching down to others and go learn. But we all know that won't happen so continue on in your own self righteous ignorance captain ego.

It's not important for religious purpose. We don't because we can.
Because our companies afford us time off and we want to travel, see lived ones and friends, buy and make gifts for each other, because we want to read Matthew, and Luke together and pray together, and eat meals together, and give thanks to God for the gift of His Son.
What is unchristian about any of this?

It is important to understand the role it plays in Christianity. It has NOTHING to do with salvation or eternal life, OTHER than the fact that Jesus the Christ, who died for our sins so that we could obtain salvation and eternal life was born of a Virgin Birth, and chose to sacrifice His life for ours.

We celebrate His Birth. The particular day is not important. However, the celebration is! And, you seem to forget that God sent a STAR to guide the Wise Men to Him, and the Angles celebrated His birth. Unless you do not believe God and the Angles celebrating the Birth of Christ to be important.

Just because it isn't recorded that the Apostles celebrated Christmas, birth of Christ, does not mean they didn't. Nor does it mean we are not suppose to. There are many things not recorded in Scripture. Does not mean they are not Gospel, or important to the Faith.

Water Baptism of the Apostles being one I can think of right off.

Besides.............WHAT IN THE WORLD is the BIG DEAL about Christians choosing to celebrate the Birth of their Lord and Savior?

We celebrate Jesus’ birth every day! Each day we believe is a day we celebrate! Along with His life, death, and resurrection!

I love this time of year because it’s another opportunity to exalt Jesus. It’s another opportunity to love on my family as I spend time with them. We laughed so much last night, we might have burned off all the calories we consumed during meal time. :ROFL::ROFL::ROFL:

I know the truth hurts, and as I do not have the quality of Jesus in his way of ministering to the unrighteous, no good ministering to the righteous is it? However, I am only pointing out the law of the Christ, and if people choose to disobey that law, the truth of the law will always upset the anger in them, and Satan and his demons will side with the unrighteous.

If on the other hand, you look at what I say and seek to see if it is God's Truth and the word of Jesus then you may wish to obey the Law of the Christ and become a Christian.

Is it my job to change you all? Well, really it is for the love of one and other that we should seek to change, ourselves and others as well.

If you saw a pedestrian about to step into the traffic, would you reach out to save that person?

so, you think you are " saving " us who trust Christ for salvation, and celebrate His birth ( yes, most of us know this was most likely not His true b-day),?/

so, it is wrong to have a celebration of the Lord and Savior being born? o. k. then. enjoy keeping the jewish festivals and high days.

be sure to have good insect repellent for the feast of booths .

This is one of those people that claim to be a Christian, yet have torn out 1 Corithians 13 from their Bible. Also, a good chunk of 1 John 4, like this passage. 20 If someone says, “I love God,” and hates his brother, he is a liar; for he who does not love his brother whom he has seen, [d]how can he love God whom he has not seen? 21 And this commandment we have from Him: that he who loves God must love his brother also.

Probably come up with some excuse why he is exempt from loving people.

Just a loud clanging gong. If He is indeed 80, I pray the Lord would soften his heart to receive the eternal life through Jesus with love, before it's too late.

I cant see that you speak for God ore Christ. Nothing is wrong in celebrate christmas as the feast of the birth of our Lord Jesus. Which law you mean that we disobey?

Not only is the 25th December the birthdate of Jesus, but it is also on different days for different parts of the year. It is also filled with pagan inferences and influences, which is contrary to God's will. Doesn't He state 'That He is the Alpha and the Omega and there shall be no other God but He. God doesn't even give the slightest hint that he is in three bits, in fact, his proclamation is very definite in His singularity as the supreme creator and the one and only God. He continued to punish those of the Hebrew times that made images to worship, isn't this a lesson to us today?
