Heresy?
sounds like some kind of mashup between Christianity and what Muslims believe IMO
Heresy?
I wonder how our God looks at people so against scripture telling us what sin is.
I like Psalm 119. It is a long one for sure.I'm tired of standing up for the law against all these put downs of Gods law. Would you change from disagreeing with this "Blik" to disagreeing with David for it is David that told Blik about the law. He speaks of it in the 119th Psalm most eloquently, do point out to David you are sure he is wrong to give us that psalm.
We are tired of you trying to push law on people to whome the law was not given. and trying to tell them this is the means in whish we find moral guidanceI'm tired of standing up for the law against all these put downs of Gods law. Paul would not want us to be slaves, do you think Paul was teaching us not to obey the law so we would not be enslaved?the book of Galatians in the NT relates to us an entire congregation that fell into the trap of thinking they needed to add to salvation through Christ alone
in this verse. Galatians 5:1, Paul says trying to obey the law is slavery
It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. Stand firm, then, and do not let yourselves be burdened again by a yoke of slavery. .
Jesus did not have an uncle
Heresy?
Do you actually think we should scold the Lord for creating our earth with law because we cannot keep it? Does our not being able to keep the law contaminate the law itself?why would you stand up for the law when God Himself knows we cannot keep it and has provided us with the most perfect and eternal solution to our sin 'problem'
if you really are tired of 'standing up for the law', why don't you put it down and relax and enjoy the salvation God has provided in place of the law? Do you actually think people are not aware of sin? Do you actually think that?
Sadly though, I am not at all convinced you will stop your 'standing up'. I don't really think you are tired of it all because you continually create threads about it and accuse and judge and moan and groan at the responses you receive in those threads. David never met Jesus Blik, but he at last knows his Savior now. YOU, on the other hand, say you know Jesus. We are told that even the angels long to look into the salvation we have been given through the grace of God.
David wrote of what he knew. We now know so much more than he did. David also committed murder by proxy so he broke the entire law he wrote about and was condemned for it. The Bible says the sword never left his house and his children broke his heart.
Romans 8:3 — King James Version (KJV 1900)
3 For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh:
so above is the KJV but I like the NIV below. I find it more eloquent in its expression, so I added that one as well.
Romans 8:3 — New Living Translation (NLT)
3 The law of Moses was unable to save us because of the weakness of our sinful nature. So God did what the law could not do. He sent his own Son in a body like the bodies we sinners have. And in that body God declared an end to sin’s control over us by giving his Son as a sacrifice for our sins.
ps: (I'm not really even posting this for your benefit Blik because God knows, many of us have tried repeatedly to help you see the error in your belief about the law AND your false accusations against us in which you try to indicate we like to sin.)

Scripture tells us the law is holy and it is good, and I am dragged through the mud for repeating what scripture tells us. Most posts try to make law keeping part of salvation when scripture tells us they are separate from each other. There is no post that say do not keep the law, thank heavens, but they come close to this, and they usually relate this keeping or not keeping law to salvation even though scripture tells us they are apart from each other. There seems to be no common sense.
Is this the only time that you have found scripture speaking of law? In my bible there are many passages about law, each passage truth of the Lord, not just this one truth. All must be read and accepted if we accept the Lord with faith in Him.Galatians says the law was there to prepare us for Christ
If you are not in the Spirit you need rules, structure
