The situation is that my workplace will be ceasing operations at the end of the year. Pray I get this sorted out be it a sudden economic shift, or find somewhere else.

During my working life I have been 'right-sized' twice, the last time in 2005 when the manufacturing facility I worked at shifted its work to other facilities within the same organization. It was very much a traumatic experience.

Suffered deep depression for several years before God delivered me from it.

I pray that God is with you during this horrible ordeal. There is a saying that whatever doesn't kill you can only make you stronger. I found that to be true in my case and pray that the same holds true for you too.
 
Praying that God will lead and guide you to find something that will be the best and joyful for you.
 
I will pray for you, but no matter what happens I know and I have no doubts that everything will be fine with you. If you have to search for another job, remember to be patient, but that doesn't mean that you should remain passive. "So I say to you, ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you." (Luke 11:9) NKJV

if you are a born again Christian, you know what to do. get Jesus on the job! even maybe He wants you in another work environment. blessings to you. Psalm 37:23: "the blessings of a good man are ordered by the Lord & he delighteth in his way".
