Eh? Why would me expressing gratitude to Dino prompt this response from you?If I offended you in any way please explain where that was... Happy to sort this out

Brother, take the time and do the research and then come back and let's talk about what you discovered about the percentage of women today becoming pastors. And not just woman pastors, gay woman pastors.
Ah yes, 1 Timothy chapter 3...... funny, we don't hear a lot about that passage but it's very important:
4An overseer must manage his own household well and keep his children under control, with complete dignity. 5For if someone does not know how to manage his own household, how can he care chu for therch of God? 6He must not be a recent convert, or he may become conceited and fall under the same condemnation as the devil. 7Furthermore, he must have a good reputation with outsiders, so that he will not fall into disgrace and into the snare of the devil.

I did a search about more gay women becoming pastors and I didn't find much, got any links to some info?
In your response to "ocean", you said, "let's talk about what you discovered about the percentage of women today becoming pastors. And not just woman pastors, gay woman pastors."
You opened a side issue (gay females as pastors). Since you want "ocean" to account for them (the side issue is completely irrelevant to this thread topic), how about you account for all the miserable failures among male pastors... just so the playing field is even.
Neither are female pastors. You probably think they are because you haven't done your homework on the relevant passages. But Male Pastors are not told by God not to teach in the Church brother, that's all i was saying about woman.

I never said woman are less then men, if i did then copy and paste the words i wrote that said this please,
It's pretty clear from God what roles were set for men and woman, but unfortunately like in the garden, fallen woman have a prideful desire still for equality and or superiority and we are seeing it more and more in Churches all over...

Hi JMH, for me personally, this quote you made on page one is what made me think that you feel women are inferior to men:
I didn't pick a point at the time because I THINK you were trying to say that men and women are "unequal" in the sense that we generally have different gifts and roles to fill. But it definitely comes across as you are saying we are "less" than men..... if we aren't superior and we aren't equal then that implies we're inferior, right?Again, I'm not sure you meant it that way but if you apparently feel you are qualified to "teach" , I had to do you a favor and tell you how you're coming across to half your audience.

So i guess John the most loved apostle who was never married, had no kids and was once a sinner had no claim either.....
oh wait, wasn't the apostle Paul once a sinner who was single with no kids yet stood in front of many and taught....![]()

How on Earth are you getting that conclusion from reading that passage?
Truly, and I am saying this in love and concern, you really do need to learn more before you go around trying to teach or correct others. Teachers will receive a greater judgement.
Heh, well now I really don't know what you are talking about. However, did you ever answer this question?Because you posted and then took your post down before i could respond yesterday.. why?
Did you see me saying anything about women teaching in the church somewhere???
That's mainly referring to catholic denominations, there's more issues than that within the organization.
Woman are not to teach or pastor, plain and simple... take it up with our Heavenly Father who is all the audience i need.
yes, you posted yesterday evening using scripture then you deleted the post because when i went to respond i wasn't able. No big deal.Heh, well now I really don't know what you are talking about. However, did you ever answer this question?
Why haven't you noticed by now that I haven't even argued against that point?![]()
