Hmmm, anymore.... When and where did God say it didn't matter to Him if we are female or male?? Please tell.

I believe the concept being alluded to is "There is neither male nor female; for you are all one in Christ Jesus." from Galatians 3:28

And unfortunately, like in the garden, fallen men have a prideful desire to blame women for the problems in the church,
rather than cutting the fat off their own hearts and stepping up to lead and do the work God set out for them.

I'm not a feminist and I'm not seeking out a church leadership role, I'm just sayin'...... ya can't bleat about
how well-equipped men are for leadership while whining that some fallen women are pushing ya around .

It's pretty clear from God what roles were set for men and woman, but unfortunately like in the garden, fallen woman have a prideful desire still for equality and or superiority and we are seeing it more and more in Churches all over... Romans sums that up pretty good.

These are the go-to proof texts for "complementarians". It's unfortunate that they are ripped from their context every time.

Genesis 3:16 is a statement of consequence on the first woman, not a curse on all women. It doesn't say that God wants men to rule over women, but that they will do so. It must be viewed in parallel to men getting their food by the sweat of their brow: does that mean men who don't have sweaty brows when they work are disobeying God?

1 Corinthians 11:3 is within the context of marriage. It has no bearing (and no rational meaning) in any other context.

So perhaps you should read Romans 1:21 into a mirror before you respond.

When we take the truths within what's being said about God choosing women almost makes me scratch my head why the Apostle Paul was against them or seems to be in his writings. It seems to be a disconnect between God and Paul towards women. Kind of a shame actually.

It's not a disconnect of any kind.
The Bible doesn't contradict itself.
Yes some men use these verse harshly but God never intended it to be that way.


Paul guided by the holy Spirit preach how woman should be so that they not sin. Solomon said "Which yet my soul seeketh, but I find not: one man among a thousand have I found; but a woman among all those have I not found." We are made different from men. The majority of woman tend to rank high on agreeableness this is often associated with kindness, empathy, patient, empathetic, and cooperation.
This makes us better mothers,nurses, teachers. But the cons is we are more susceptible to sin then men. Paul said woman should be quiet in churches because we are more likely to agree rather then argue. This is not a trait you want in a preacher. Paul wrote this to protect us from partaking in the sin.

Let a woman learn quietly with all submissiveness. I do not permit a woman to teach or to exercise authority over a man; rather, she is to remain quiet. For Adam was formed first, then Eve; and Adam was not deceived, but the woman was deceived and became a transgressor. Yet she will be saved through childbearing—if they continue in faith and love and holiness, with self-control


Also woman tend to gossip which was a problem even in Jesus day. Matthew 15:11, "what corrupts a person comes from their mouth," the woman that Jesus talked to was an outcast she wasn't at the well when the other woman there.

God sent Jesus so all could be saved through him especially the woman.

Paul wrote: I DESIRE that women should not preach.

If it's Paul's desire then it's how Paul feels.

For starters, the verses which you are throwing around pertain to a husband and wife relationship, and not to male/female relationships in general. Also, although there is a God-given hierarchy or God-given authority within the confines of a marriage, it was never intended to be a hierarchy of dominance, superiority, or abuse. In other words, a husband, although the head of his own wife (and not of any other woman), is supposed to lay down his own life sacrificially for his wife in the same manner in which Christ laid down his own life sacrificially for the church. At the same time, a wife ought to reverence her own husband (and not men in general) as the church is supposed to be reverencing Christ.

As far as equality is concerned, even within the confines of a marriage, there is equality between the man and woman where salvation is concerned. Again, any authority that a husband has over his own wife (and not over any other woman) equates with accountability, and not with dominance, superiority, or abuse.

Seeing how husbands are more accountable, let's see them step up to the plate before they start slinging any accusations against their own wives or women in general. In your case, according to your profile, you are not even married, so if you think that you are the head over any woman in any sense, then you are greatly mistaken.

Yes you are correct, we are all valued in the eyes of God equally, yet have different roles to fill and for woman teaching in the church was not the role God gave them unless you see error in scripture some where?

It does seem that way at times in the writing of Paul. It seems to me that Paul thought that women were inferior to men.

My dear brother in Christ, the scripture you chose to use is a great way to show God values man and woman equally as I do as well,
yet they both have different roles to fill and teaching in the church was not the role for the woman to carry out unless you see error in scripture somewhere...? Please show me if you can.
