Anyone can curse a believer. Cursing is simply the diminishment of someone or something by words. In my first profession, I dealt with a lot of parents who cursed their children ("You'll never amount to anything"; "You're just like your father (who was in prison"). Cursing is quite rampant in U.S. culture.
But if you're asking if a witch can assign an evil entity or outcome to a believer that overrides the power and grace of God in their lives, no.

Christians override the will of God in their lives often enough and go outside the protection

I agree with what constitutes a curse in the lives of so many
so, if a Christian was cursed like that growing up, does all of that suddenly fall away when they are saved?

Ask Balaam, who was no small man in such matters.

Yes and no. As one raised in a home where the occult was normal, I suffered a lot as a child and young man. God saved me anyway, such is His love, mercy and grace. The initial salvation is the spirit man. That is what it means to be born again. It took a number of years before my soul was freed from the effects of the occult. Even as a young believer, I suffered terrible nightmares and my sleep was restless. I was often ill, usually from stress and fear.
I received deliverance progressively. I was attacked by evil spirits early on. Satan lost one who had been given over to him from birth and he was not happy. But greater is He who is within me.....
Now I go to sleep and i wake up in exactly the position that I was in when I dozed off. I rarely dream. My health is generally good. I have many battles, as do all who are born again. But I know that I have the victory in Jesus. Lord Jesus: 10 billion. Satan: nil.
They can and they do. It's war. If Christians are ignorant and fail to resist the enemy, they can suffer needlessly. Even this God uses. He wants us to realise that we are being careless and for us to get our act together. A simple example. I went through a period of two years of near constant flu. I was either coming down with it, in the middle or starting to get over it. I had unlimited sick leave but I was embarrassed to use it. My boss made me go home at times.
One day, I was driving home and my throat started to get sore. It was always how the flu started. I thought, "here we go again". The Lord broke through my thoughts and said, "You bring this on yourself". I realised what was going on and I immediately resisted the enemy's suggestions. It was years before I suffered another bout of flu and that was because I became complacent. I don't take flu vax because I have a bad reaction, much the same as the flu itself.

OK..so actually you are saying yes. understand I was also bothered by 'things' even though I was saved at 5 and I think it was likely hereditary. I am also free and have been for years

you should note that I never said that any believer can be removed from the grace of God. Ask Job.

yet Job is a perfect example of what can and sometimes does happen to a believer. God actually does allow what we might believe He does not allow

ummm...was the op asking an OT question then? cause I didn't see that?
no we know they were not. I mentioned Job as Job was directly attacked by the devil (with God's permission)
that was the point. how has God changed, in what manner, so that now the devil and his band of ne'er do wills can no longer accomplish such things? God uses us to enact His will most of the time...the other side does the exact same thing
are we talking past each other or is there actually some disagreement? I know personally that a witch can still curse, try to curse or somehow influence a Christian, which does not mean they win
if they cannot influence the actual believer, then those around said believer. this happens often enough...with or without a witch behind the scenes

Years ago one of my workers gave to us dolls. i did not know at the time that his mother was a witch. The dolls were cursed and some bad things started to come against our family. The dolls were harmless looking and not creatures - just hand made simple dolls.
Long story short - a Brother came over and noticed the dolls, said they were cursed and we threw them into the wood stove.
Peace restored.
Witchcraft is real and this is a real war.

I don't think Christians are able to say what a witch can of cannot do.
There is a difference between those who are witches, and those who refer to themselves as Wiccans.
Christians only know what Jesus said he is able to do through the power of his holy spirit.
I think when Christians cleave to that we don't worry about what others may wish to think they can go to us.
