All,

Similar to a post from a student a couple years ago, I was recently contacted by a summer school art student seeking guidance. His class was studying the 1800's artist William Blake and his artwork that illustrated portions of the bible. The art student said his assignment included Blake's series of paintings entitled "The Great Red Dragon." (Wiki has a decent write up and images for each of the paintings via this link.; I've also pasted thumbnails of them below.) The student said that after seeing these paintings, researching the associated biblical references, and finding other incredible AI generated videos/animations of them, he now feels like his faith is being challenged.

He confessed that he was having trouble reconciling the AI videos of them with his faith . He told me that he had never envisioned such overwhelming powerful depictions of Satan and what Satan could do. I tried to explain the spiritual meaning behind them to him the best that I could so he could strengthen his worship.

I was wondering if others have been equally moved by seeing these and/or other AI images/videos/animations of them or similar ones. Also, as part of a broader question, I was curious how others feel about AI and its ability to create incredible video renditions of biblical scenes that can either challenge or enhance our faith.

These images don't phase me. They're ultimately nothing more than someone's imagination.

Also they are showing Satan as the beast like creature. He would look like an angel I thought. Maybe there are refs in the Bible like Revelation with the dragon that is the inspiration here. Either way .. does not faze me either.

I'm more concerned with AI putting words in people's mouths thru fake news and students using ai to cheat.

Eh, i'm not very moved when i see Satanic images, but i am moved when i see images of Satan kicked to the ground.
