My saying this was within the context of someone else (a veteran) saying that....a group of well trained and armed men, all with one absolute goal in mind is a wonder to behold. I kinda agree with you, it's a tad sadistic, but I was more focusing on the cohesion and fraternity of the Israelite's army, the mental strength and will power and FAITH exibited by all these men is to me a beautiful miracle. Not that people died, but how God's people came together through their faith and hope for a better future for their women and children....and did what our God said they could do.
No your right.. now a days it's more of a WOE man. That's why we need to make women wife's who have the fear of the Lord in their hearts. And Humble and loving as well.
If men would be the husband that God requires them to be then women would be the wife that God wants them to be. Too many men are selfish, lazy, complacent and take their wives for granted. Too many women try to find in a husband what only Jesus can supply.
I took care of a friend when she came out of hospital. She had great needs still. She had applied for some home help, but there was a problem and it took 3 weeks to arrive. None of the tasks were hard, but they were relentless. It took me a week to find time to put the shopping away.
Women with kids know exactly what I'm talking about. Men need to be more sensitive. Take the children to the park just to give your wife a break. It won't kill you to wash dishes and vacuum. Do the heavier stuff like make the bed. Don't make a big deal of helping either.

Meh... Look i know this is a Christian chat.. but let's not overlook the obvious. Yes it's alot of douchebag men out there. But it's easily more trifling female s in the world now a days. Every woman is not a good parent. It's way more bad female parents out there then men actually. You could do your own neutral research you'd see it's a torrent of cases on females doing twisted things to there kids or holding them back from father's out of spite. At least now a days. No this doesn't mean all females are bad parents.. But the amount of single women parents out now that should say something about the mental and spiritual mindset of the females now a days. That's why I said it's more WOE men now. The last 3 or 4 decades it's all about dead beat dad's or abusive men, and how he needs to be a better father It so many great dad's out here but we don't get acknowledged.That negativity about father's comes out on a regular though. No where near the same amount of energy is shined on women to be better humble submissive, Home makers or have self accountability for the Thier faults. And men don't get any congratulations anymore. Let alone positive acknowledgement from the media.

BOTH of y'all completely proved my point. I just said that men admit they are wrong when told about needing to improve. I just said most women don't like to admit or have self accountability for thier actions. It's says alot about a man who can take constructive criticism and better himself your right. But it says alot more about a woman who claims that men need to do better... Yet she keeps selecting these males in her life she claims are bad. It's called SELF accountability. Can't blame men for the bad ones that a woman may constantly choose. And even when I said that men get told they r wrong and most will man up and admit it... Please be aware that you won't win any arguments here by wildly slinging insults like Jezebel spirit, whining and playing victim. You won't win arguments that way because you're talking to a group of mostly veteran forum members who have already seen it all. We have seen so many internet arguments that we can name your argument tactics as you use them.
Actually it's kind of boring by now. We MIGHT name them as you use them, if we care enough to bother.
Right now most of us are trying to decide what you are. You might be a troll who is here to stir up contention. You might be a kid who has little experience with real conversation between adults. You might be an older person, but one who deliberately seeks arguments for the thrill of feeling like you won something, even an internet argument.
