From what I can understand from the Bible and other people's explanations, it seems that homosexuality is a sin because it's not natural and sex between two men or women can't make a baby, so I think it's because of how 'destructive' it is to the human race. Or maybe it's the fact that it kind of resembles lust in a way? I'm not a Bible expert or a homophobe, so that's just what I think.
theres nothing such as a homophobe. I havent seen anyone having a phobia towards the homo/abc genders. It is destructive on a spiritual, physical and mental level which shows that it is a nogo. Its not just about the no baby part, its a all in all picture that it makes and a vicious cycle.

I can't believe the mere fact the God SAID it isn't enough. Guys, as Christians it is sometimes OK to say, "God said no, so NO!" For me the biggest reason why homosexuality is wrong is because God says it is. It is not his planned. As my mom always told us as kids when we played rough with some toy: "Is that the way it is meant to be used?" 
Its human nature sis. people want to know everything. its a flesh thing, it takes a lot of maturing to be able to just accept something for what it is without questioning it. it can take years sis

Yeah, and I guess each of us have our own place where we "NEED to know!!" Just because this is one I see as something easy to take on faith doesn't mean that everyone does.
everyone who seeks the Lord will eventually get to the point where they have to just take something by faith. Its kinda like the question '' where does God come from" . People have problems just accepting it.
In some subjects (like homosexuality) the bible does state reasons. Other things are just a trust thing. ((hugs))

If we are honest about that.. it doesnt really matter why the bible states anything if your a person who just blindly obeys, you dont need any explanation. All depends on the person and how close someone is to God

But seriously, Demi, what did I say to offend you? I wasn't trying to be disrespectful at all! Believe it or not, I was genuinely frustrated that I hadn't used the search bar like I should have. I was just replying to Maxwel's comment on the first page. This isn't the first time I've gone and posted something without looking it up first.
To be entirely fair, the last time you slammed me for saying something stupid, I actually deserved it. This time... not so much. You should try to be more discerning about how you talk to people, and so should I, and so should Ugly (just know that I love you, man!). Just be more patient with people, okay? 16 is a rough age, I get it. I was just there myself. Just keep in mind that people ALWAYS deserve your respect, even if they seem like they're not being respectful themselves.

Many of the Old Testament laws make quite a lot of sense today, health- wise. I.e. unclean food was for most parts food we know today can carry diseases or parasites (lots about it here: Bible Health Laws | Tomorrow's World)
From what I have seen, no- one has yet refuted the statement that homosexuals are more likely to get HIV / Aids
thus, by keeping people form ... engaging in that activity, less disease will spread.
(I think homosexual practise was quite common among some of Israel's neighbours. We know it was common in ancient Greece (probably many other places as well I should add), where grown men preferred boys .... so, really really not a good think to happen among God's people

It didnt really offend me, it seemed to me like a aggressive post at the time (to me). Search bar or not dont matter (at least not to me) if people have a question, ask. Even when we whine about it, just ask. Thats how people learn.
I again apologize if I hurt you, that was not my intent.. it was a bad shot at trying to shake someone by the shoulders over a post where nothing bad was, tho at that time it seemed so. I agree we both gotta work on that tho lol. We all need buttkicks some day, and I read through your post here and went back to my and your comment and wanted to facepalm myself for being a pain over nothing and getting it so wrong tho there was nothing lol. Now it has nothing to do with age or not. I had a bad day that day (not sayin this to excuse myself) and I should have acted more appropriately and maturely and did not. I will definitely try to hold back when my mind runs crazy, just staying in the back until my head is clear.
