He didn't.

He created beings perfect or good, whether angelic or human, and gave them the ability to make free will choices.

Sin was introduced into this creation when Satan willfully chose to rebel against God.

I believe that we see this here in what God said about this "cherub" or angelic being:

Ezekiel chapter 28

[13] Thou hast been in Eden the garden of God; every precious stone was thy covering, the sardius, topaz, and the diamond, the beryl, the onyx, and the jasper, the sapphire, the emerald, and the carbuncle, and gold: the workmanship of thy tabrets and of thy pipes was prepared in thee in the day that thou wast created.
[14] Thou art the anointed cherub that covereth; and I have set thee so: thou wast upon the holy mountain of God; thou hast walked up and down in the midst of the stones of fire.
[15] Thou wast perfect in thy ways from the day that thou wast created, till iniquity was found in thee.
[16] By the multitude of thy merchandise they have filled the midst of thee with violence, and thou hast sinned: therefore I will cast thee as profane out of the mountain of God: and I will destroy thee, O covering cherub, from the midst of the stones of fire.
[17] Thine heart was lifted up because of thy beauty, thou hast corrupted thy wisdom by reason of thy brightness: I will cast thee to the ground, I will lay thee before kings, that they may behold thee.

This "cherub" or angelic being was "perfect in its ways from the day that it was created, TILL INIQUITY WAS FOUND IN IT".

Apparently, it "sinned" when its "heart was lifted up because of its beauty" or because of PRIDE.

And so it goes until today...
"For by him all things were created, in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities—all things were created through him and for him." - Colossian 1:16

You deny the omnipotence of God. I am reporting you for heresy.

God allowed for the potential of sin. He did not create it. Sin is a lack of goodness, not a material thing.

Sin entered the world through one man, and death through sin, so also
death was passed on to all men, because all sinned.
Romans 5:12
"For by him all things were created, in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities—all things were created through him and for him." - Colossian 1:16

I asked where the Bible says this. But you didn't provide any verses.

If you don't have any, just say so. If you do have some, then please share.

If you think God created evil, then God is evil. Is that your position?
God created the universe.
Exactly. Gen 1:1. But this doesn't answer my question.

See Genesis.
I have. And this doesn't answer my question.

That is my understanding. Or do you believe God was created by Sophia, for example?
Ok, so basically, you don't seem to have an answer as to your belief that God created evil.

So, since you have no verses to share, why do you believe that?

My beliefs and views come straight from the Bible. Why don't yours?

We are robots. Don't believe me? Try seeing ultraviolet light. It is not within our programming to see it.
This really misunderstands what free will is. What is ISN'T is an ability to choose something that ISN'T available to us.

And that's your example. So you aren't refuting free will at all.

Will: "the faculty by which a person decides on and initiates action."

Use your free (without limit) will to see ultraviolet light.
There's the big error. The words "without limit". That doesn't define "free" at all.

Man is free to choose from available options. That's all. Nothiing more.

But you are trying to make it look like something more, so you can "refute" it.
Doesn't work.

Stay within the lines, please.

All I'm asking is evidence from Scripture that God created evil. And so far, you haven't provided any.
I never claimed God created 'evil', however...

"For by him all things were created, in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities—all things were created through him and for him." - Colossian 1:16

I believe you did, pages ago.

"For by him all things were created, in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities—all things were created through him and for him." - Colossian 1:16

Why do you think this verse supports your view about evil?

If God created evil, then HE Himself is evil. He cannot be perfect and holy IF IF IF He created evil.

He created freedom for His creatures to DO evil.

Are you able to grasp this difference?

Here's an example to illustrate the issue.

Colt makes firearms, and sells them. IF a buyer gets one and uses it to kill someone, who committed the murder?

Colt the maker of the gun or the buyer of the gun?

If freedom has limitations, it is not freedom.
<sigh>

You just don't understand. The clear point is that we have freedom within OUR LIMITS.

But since you don't like free will, you have to "draw outside the lines" to include options that are not available, in order to make it look like free will is a silly concept.

When it is your irrelevant examples that look silly.

Of course I can't make it rain by my "free will". But I CAN choose to take an umbrella with me if it is or will be raining.

I hope you can see the difference.

In any case, it's impossible to discuss with someone whose mind is made up and isn't interesting in facts.

Yes, it is free will. You have a choice to do right or sin. God did not create sin. Why would God create anything that would keep you from Him? Why would He create sin and then punish you when you sin? What kind of theological hoops and loops do you have to jump through to come to that conclusion? Adam and Eve had a choice in the garden, or do you think God tricked them? No, God is not some Greek god that lures people into traps and then say "Ah ha! You sinned, now you're in for it!" That's utterly ridiculous.

the only thing "not good" which God ceated was Man, and God himself said its not good he be alone . he made man whole in his Jesus.
