IMO sin was a result of being contrary to the Instructions (so to speak).IE Someone gives you something along with an Instruction manual and Instead of following the instructions you decide to put It together on your own without the Instructions and It ends up wrong from the Instructions.Sin Is disobedience to the WORD of GOD.
I believe GOD created everything but man can take things GOD created and make things out of what GOD created.IE GOD created the sun water and earth,man digs up earth adds water and makes mud and fashions the mud Into an Image.
Yes, God not allowing FREE WILL would not have been in God's nature, because God's nature is not to FORCE ANYTHING, if you do not want to be a part of God then you must needs be separated from God because God can not abide sin, His Holy glory would consume it. That is why God had to LEAVE Jesus all alone on the cross when He had all of our sins upon him, that is why Jesus said, "My God, my God, why have you forsaken (left) me?"
The opposite of Holy is UNHOLY, as long as God has been around (eternally) there has also been an UNHOLY Spirit, one Lucifer listened unto, of course. Since God is eternal, He didn't create everything because God didn't create Himself, He created everything in our universe, for sure.
Sin is an ACT of Rebellion, how can God make us ACTIVELY REBELL? That is a choice.

Wrong, God created beings who CREATED SIN. You are not up to speed on the ways things work.

I don't understand this part of the verse. So death passed upon all men , for that all have sinned? Adam for sure had sinned. And all the people in Noah's days sinned as is apparent by a verse. But how is it a sure thing that all have sinned who are born subsequently? By that I mean why would God give instructions to Cain for not sinning when He knew all will sin? And why give the 10 commandments when all will sin? So basically those who don't sin will not experience death? Or is it a sure thing that all men will sin and thus die? Or is it that Adam brought sin into all his offsprings without the offsprings sinning in the first place? If that is so , then Christ's death has to save everyone born of Adam regardless of them not knowing about Christ's redemption because everyone died whether or not they knew about Adam's sin.
If you took the time to study this in-depth (which I have) you would know God is saying he brings Blessings and Cursings. Look again, then think it through, I create the light and the Darkness ( opposites right? ) I create Peace and I create Evil but it really means Strife, or I bring forth bad tidings. In other words, God is Peace, if we abide in Him His Peace falls upon us, if we don't then the strife of life without God comes upon us. What does PEACE have to do with the Creation of Evil? Nothing.
I use a KJV/Hebrew Massoretic Bible, thus I can hover over all of these words and get the origin of the meaning.

Evil is tied in with the word, but the Hebrew had only 4000 words and no vowels, YOWM means Day, but it also meant any disruption of TIME, year, Month, a Period of Time, thus God Created the Universe of 7 Periods of time, not 7 days. Likewise, a does mean Evil. but God is not saying He created Evil, he's saying he brings Distress, Calamity, Misery, or in general BAD THINGS against those who come against Him in any wise. Peace is brought by God to whom? Those that trust in Him. Distress is brought by God against whom? Those who do not trust in Him, it has nothing to do with the Origins of Sin.
