My personal opinion, is that the majority of the deep state problems are actually rooted (literally) in the Republican party.
We know what the Democrats are and what they believe and are transitioning into. The Republicans really really need actual people with morality and concern for the country in their ranks. They stink. Not every one of course, but it seems they are being identified in spite of themselves.
Would love a third party, but what would it take for that. The GOP would most likely squash em like a bug.
Administering scientific and medial breakthroughs has nothing to do with patriotism or one's religiosity.

Just because I oppose Trump who has obvious character flaws, doesn't make me an advocate of "the dark side". In fact, that makes me quite the opposite.

Not all scientific "breakthroughs" are good things. I don't think God is against science (being the creator) but do you really think we don't have a choice in what we explore in his creation?
Personally, I think there are boundaries. There is plenty of public record about how some "breakthroughs" happened and to say that someone gets a free pass because "For science!" is pretty dangerous thinking spiritually speaking.
I could give examples, but just research what almost everyone in the world agrees should be illegal. No I don't mean just the Christian body.
