The OP asserted that the Deity of Christ was invented by the Roman Catholic Church.

I had posted upthread in an attempt to refute OP's assertion.

However, I forgot to mention that the original manuscripts which make up both the OT and NT would have supported the Deity of Christ. The RCC didn't even exist during that time.

Oh, and OP also claimed that Christ's Deity was/is a ploy for publishing companies to "sell Bibles".

Huh? How do you know he said these things.
Unfortunately, OP's posts (and posts quoted by other members) have been removed. I probably should have screen-shot the post with the Bible-selling reference, but it didn't occur to me. But I'm pretty sure OP said that.

Ok, I stand corrected.

The reason why I couldn't see OP's posts was because I forgot to click "Show ignored content".

Unfortunately, OP's posts (and posts quoted by other members) have been removed.
That usually only happens in cases of extreme abuse, and/or ad spam..:)

Remember ad spam? LOL. We used to get a lot of that "back in the day".:giggle:

Jesus was speaking to Jews, many of whom rejected Who He was. Much like you...
He was in the world, and the world was made by him, and the world knew him not.”
‭‭John‬ ‭1:10‬ ‭KJV‬‬

“My help cometh from the LORD, Which made heaven and earth.”
‭‭Psalm‬ ‭121:2‬ ‭

He came to save us and intercede just like he said he would

“Yea, truth faileth; and he that departeth from evil maketh himself a prey: and the LORD saw it, and it displeased him that there was no judgment. And he saw that there was no man, and wondered that there was no intercessor:

therefore his arm brought salvation unto him; and his righteousness, it sustained him. For he put on righteousness as a breastplate, and an helmet of salvation upon his head; and he put on the garments of vengeance for clothing, and was clad with zeal as a cloke.

So shall they fear the name of the LORD from the west, and his glory from the rising of the sun.

When the enemy shall come in like a flood, the Spirit of the LORD shall lift up a standard against him. And the Redeemer shall come to Zion, and unto them that turn from transgression in Jacob, saith the LORD.”
‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭59:15-17, 19-20‬ ‭KJV‬‬

How many times has someone pulled out John 1 and showed it to him? What did he say about that?
He thinks Jesus has “ God like qualities “ a

it’s not seeming to matter much what scriptures people are sharing like this one

“And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory.”
‭‭1 Timothy‬ ‭3:16‬ ‭KJV‬‬

apparently there’s a controversy whether God was manifest in the flesh of Jesus Christ

“And we know that the Son of God is come, and hath given us an understanding, that we may know him that is true, and we are in him that is true, even in his Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God, and eternal life.”
‭‭1 John‬ ‭5:20‬ ‭KJV‬‬

some don’t grasp the concept of God being the father son and Holy Ghost in one , Jesus Christ

To some they think of God like a person with our limits of God is the Father he can’t be the son and can’t be the Holy Ghost he can only be one form

God has revealed himself to us in Christ and come to be with us in the holy ghost

Another anti-Trinitarian trolling the forum.
The problem I have with the Trinitarian believers is that they don't even understand the Trinity they believe in. We wouldn't be having all these problems about the Godhead if the Trinity doctrine could be explained. Jesus said, ' I and my father are one.' And several scriptures in the Bible both in the old and New Testament testified to it that our God is one God.

Genesis 2:7; told us God [the father] breathed into Adams's nostrils the breath of life. John 1:4; Made us understand that the breath of life which God [the father] breathed into Adam's nostril was in Jesus Christ. 'in Him [Jesus Christ] was life.' Use this passage to make a difference between God the father and Jesus Christ.

The Bible can never contradict itself. Man is made in God's own image and likeness, what that means if you don't understand is that we are God's duplicate. Adam is made in three forms, Spirit, soul, and body. God's Soul is the Holy Spirit and His Body is Christ. If you believe Adam is not triune, then God is one and not triune.

The point of the Trinity doctrine is to simply believe it. It is not subject to "explanation" for the simply reason that it is beyond human reason. It is supra-rational and supernatural.

The passage below is incorrect, i.e., the brackets.

Everything was created for Jesus and by Jesus.

Genesis 2:7; told us God [the Word] breathed into Adams's nostrils the breath of life. John 1:4; Made us understand that the breath of life which God [the Word] breathed into Adam's nostril was in Jesus Christ. 'in Him [Jesus Christ] was life.' Use this passage to make a difference between God the father and Jesus Christ.

Really? Wow, believe what I don't understand? Look, the truth is always bitter when told. Jesus told them the truth in John 10:30, what did they do? they pick up stones to kill Him. He won't have escaped if He wasn't immortal. You also can call me horrible names if it will make you feel good. I can see you have no answer to my question and that is fear enough, it only shows you never want the truth. I now know you will also pick stones to throw at Jesus if you are to be among those He told He is one with God.

Sir, the truth must prevail above all we were told growing up. How would God breathe into Adam's nostrils THE BREATH OF LIFE [Genesis 2:7] which John 1:4 said was in Christ? If Jesus Christ is not God, the father then the Living Bible has contradicted itself. When His disciples asked Him to show them the father, what did He say? John 14, 'henceforth, you have seen the father and have known Him.' Are those my words, please?

Oftentimes, we see those who crucify Jesus as the greatest sinners of all time, but they did that because they lack adequate knowledge about the God they think they are protecting who is right there before them. God has explained who He was clearly in the Bible so nobody should tell me to just accept what is explainable. You can't explain the relationship that existed between God the father, son and of the Holy Spirit yet you told me to just accept they are together one God. How did you know that when you can't explain how they relate with each other? Jesus told me they are one in God and not one as God or one with God. What Jesus said is enough for me but i don't know about you sir.

'let us make man in our own image and after our own likeness.' Those were the words of God the father to Christ and the Holy Spirit if you believe that. I also believed God the father was the one creating the heavens and the earth, speaking the word [Christ]. To you now, God became tired when He is about to create Adam, so He asks Jesus to do the breathing on Adam.

Well, I can see how very good you are at defending at all costs what you believe in. At least it sounds good to me when you say Jesus created us in the beginning. That means Jesus is the person the first pages of Genesis are talking about. We shouldn't have been having this discussion when you have accepted Jesus created all things including Man. If He had done all that, where is the position of the father, a spectator? He is the very father since He created everything including me and you.

Since you lost me with the Father got tired and had the Son finish Creation,

But, you say the Father and Son are Same God,

Are you 4-Square Theology?

If so, the Holy Spirit is the Spirit of the Father and Son?

I was referring to what you said that Jesus was the one who did the breathing when we were told God did. if you care to know, the Holy Spirit is the Mind of God while Jesus to the Body of God. Calling God, the father alone is calling God without a Mind and working abilities. That God is not God to me. Sorry, sir, I believe you don't understand me at all.

No, I do understand.

Did you get your beliefs from being born into a Church that taught this Doctrine?
Or, did you format these ideas by yourself from reading the Word of God by one day choosing to read a Bible and this is what you personally believe?

And I didn't say anything about anything yet, I just asked you a question and here we are now.
