Again, "born again" is just one way of saying "saved", so let us not be anal about it as though it were a fetish.

May I ask what has "anal" got to do with scriptures? You seem to mixed them together and then come out with a long list of scriptures.

In this instance "anal" refers to those who magnify the importance of the wording in #43 that they cannot see #1-112.
Perhaps not seeing the forest for the trees is a nicer analogy.

You did not ask what "fetish" has to do with the list, but here is its definition in this context:

A wording worshipped for its supposed spiritual superior power over other equally valid wordings.

If all the Apostles can tell who's really a born again. Why didnt they believe what Jesus says the one who will betray him?
