Such fields are only white unto harvest because somebody had previously sown seeds there. As Jesus himself said:

John 4:35-38

"Say not ye, There are yet four months, and then cometh harvest? behold, I say unto you, Lift up your eyes, and look on the fields; for they are white already to harvest. And he that reapeth receiveth wages, and gathereth fruit unto life eternal: that both he that soweth and he that reapeth may rejoice together. And herein is that saying true, One soweth, and another reapeth. I sent you to reap that whereon ye bestowed no labour: other men laboured, and ye are entered into their labours."

Anyhow, I am not here to argue with you or anybody else. You can have the last word. I have already planted enough seeds of my own here, and I am satisfied with that.
Hmm...

The same Bible said something about throwing your treasures in front of pigs, because they will turn around and tear you apart.

We should always let our light shine. We should always live a godly life before the world around us. But trying to push it on others with no thought of time and place doesn't profit much. It can even nail doors permanently shut if we try to force our way through them before God opens them.

True, but my intended point was that there is always an open door somewhere.

I mentioned earlier that Rodney Dangerfield was my favorite comedian.

Here is Jay Leno talking about how Rodney died:

Was it of any value or benefit to Rodney whatsoever that Jay Leno made him laugh right before he died?

Would to God that somebody was there holding Rodney's hand while sharing the gospel with him instead.

Also, Jay's story about a certain comedic funeral, as people in the audience laughed, was a grief to me. Especially when the man who died in his story more than likely wound up in hell.
Interesting... because, although late-night talk shows were not something I watched on a regular basis,
partly because I did not own a TV for many years (and still don't after buying one at the age of fifty and
having cable for about three years), I did used to read a piece in the weekend entertainment section of
one of our dailies here, comparing the material and jokes of different late-night hosts, and Jay Leno always
came out on top in terms of clean content. He seems to have departed from that in this interview...

Good comedy is fun and funny and actually requires a highly intelligent person to deliver it well. It's not smart alek remarks or quips or even sexual but takes a good bit of time to set up. And it's a joy to read or watch play out for everyone. Although those without cognitive abilities or scene knowledge never get the jokes and declare no joke was told at all.
Most of the best jokes require irony....

Resulting in my favorite comedian of all time being Jesus.

He set up some doozies...ones that still bring a smile to my face today even though I've pondered them (as others have) for centuries.

Telling Phillip to go get some bread is one of the best I've ever heard.

Jesus playing as one of the local exorcist is another.

Honorable mentions include Jeff Foxworthy and several others.

Of the top of my head I like Billy Connolly and Michael McIntyre...

Billy C can be a bit rude, but very funny.

Also Robin Williams was very talented...

Of all time Red Skelton.

Best team Carol Brunette and Don Knots.
After that long derail, I have to get back on topic. BEST comedian has to be Red Skelton. He was a genius.

Did you know? He always vomited right before a show. Nerves, y'know. He said for a time he thought all actors did.

No I didn't know that. I loved his weekly show.

I also loved Carol and Tim Conway. I never missed her show when she had Tim or Don on it.

My error. I don't think that Don was ever on Carol's TV show.
