Well, ive seen peoples lives ruined because of these things, so i thinks its loving to point out to Christians to not be mystics but to walk by faith and being loving requires the use of Judgement, the bible warns against an evil judgment and hypocritical judgment, it doesn't destroy judgment itself though, John 7:24 Do not judge by appearances, but judge with right judgment.”

Judgment can be a good thing, not always something bad or hateful or unloving.

But in saying this, im not putting you down, i will be careful as you said and God hates evil and hypocrital judgment, i am with you on that, i believe what i wrote is not EVIL but good and loving though.

Yessir. We are to judge one another in the body. We cannot walk in sin or be doing things that are wrong, while we sit back and do nothing and say nothing. We must use sound doctrine through scripture to correct one another if we are in error. Its not to exalt ourselves or to put someone else down, but for the edifying of the Church. God bless you.

Id rather know why you follow the catholic faith. Every ones story is unique. Not all catholics are the same. Some practice santeria and santa muerte, witchcraft and sorcery. Some are Christian but stay because of tradition and their family background. Youre on a Christian site.. Id like to hear why youre a Catholic?

I tell you we live in a spiritual world. And evryone has a spirit. Theres spirits of anger, lust, division, bitterness, resentment, depression, hurt, murder etc etc.. The Holy Spirit gives us discernment to what a person is opporating under. A born again Christian is to opporate in the Holy Spirit.

So no it is not Christian mysticism, it is the Holy Spirit who leads us to truth, prophecy, discernment, counsel etc. Have you received the Holy Spirit? Im guessing you have not.

im just repeating myself from the blog section thread.
Im not a good apologist. we have a huge problem with rogue priests and abuse of power plus disgraceful cover ups. despite this I have a love of catholicism. One huge reason for me is the mystical option. Benedictine monks. The beauty of the Divine office. the beauty and mystery of beautuful stain glasss windows. The art.
I can never get used to a cross without Jesus on it.

I stick to the Bible. Why read something secular or a mans perspective for wisdom? The Word of God is wisdom. Mysticism is not of God.
