1 John 4:4
Little children, you are from God and have overcome them, for he who is in you is greater than he who is in the world.

Ephesians 6:11
Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the schemes of the devil.

Apparently you are one of the ignorant or misinformed.
Don't you know, and haven't you heard, sicknesses and diseases are a blessing of and from God, to many here on CC?
And to believe God will actually protect the believers, is for one to live in a pipe dream.
Or so I have been told, and much more, when I presented God's promises of good health and healing.
Many so-called believers believe experiences OVER the word of God.
And to answer your call for scripture.

Psa 91:5 Thou shalt not be afraid for the terror by night; nor for the arrow that flieth by day;
Psa 91:6 Nor for the pestilence that walketh in darkness; nor for the destruction that wasteth at noonday.
Psa 91:7 A thousand shall fall at thy side, and ten thousand at thy right hand; but it shall not come nigh thee.
Psa 91:8 Only with thine eyes shalt thou behold and see the reward of the wicked.
Psa 91:9 Because thou hast made the LORD, which is my refuge, even the most High, thy habitation;
Psa 91:10 There shall no evil befall thee, neither shall any plague come nigh thy dwelling.
insult do not make you authoritative.

As the Body of Christ, we should be in agreement against the enemy and attacks such as this virus. Last Wednesday my online Pastor led the congregation in a prayer of agreement quoting Scriptures like 'Luke 10:19 - Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you. ' There is so much power in prayers of agreement There are a multitude of great Sriptures on victory, authority, protetion, etc.
If you'd like to share any such Scriptures, please do. I have so many I also will be posting.
We should be increasing our Faith not our fear.

Matthew 18:18-20 - Verily I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever ye shall loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.

Verse page" data-hasqtip="68" aria-describedby="qtip-68" style="box-sizing: border-box; background-color: transparent; color: rgb(57, 84, 127); text-decoration: none; transition: color 0.2s ease-in-out 0s; font-size: 15px; font-weight: 700;">Hebrews 10:24-25

Heb 10:24-25 '...and let us consider how to stimulate one another to love and good deeds, not forsaking our own assembling together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another; and all the more as you see the day drawing near.'
It might be wise for you to distinguish between the signs and wonders of the Gospel of the Kingdom, and the current Gospel of Grace the Body of Christ is under now.

During the era of the 4 Gospels, the Jews needed signs and wonders for them to believe that Jesus was their promised Messiah.

But now, when you share the good news of the grace of God, brought about by the cross of Jesus, you are not given signs and wonders to authenticate your message.

Matthew 28:18

Then Jesus came to them and said, "All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me."

The Word "Lord" in context to Jesus means = Supreme Authority . The word "ALL" in Matthew 28:18 means ALL.

When Jesus is speaking HE is the Authority untmost over all in the word of God who is speaking Jesus is more authoritative than Paul. IF there was, which there is not "contradiction " between Jesus and Paul words would carry more authoritative than Pauls.

John spelled out in John 20:30-31 what signs are for, to convince the Jews that Jesus is the promised messiah.

I hope you are not preaching that to the gentiles now but instead, telling them to believe in 1 cor 15:1-4 as the good news.

That good news unfortunately, is not accompanied by signs

As the body of God I get why you think we should have the authority but we as a whole don't believe in all 66 Books as the Word of God only the NT. If 1/2 the Church believes 1/2 the Bible how can there be any power? (Not 1/2 exactly but you get the idea).

There are so many signs and wonders happening already, they don't get respet in the media. Yes Jesus through the Holy Spirit gave us certain gifts.
Mark 16:17-18 King James Version (KJV)
17 And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues;
18 They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.

There still exist certain "christian" groups who believe in picking up deadly snakes now.

We call them cults, for good reasons.

Leviticus 26:8
Five of you will pursue a hundred, and a hundred of you will pursue ten thousand, and your enemies will fall by the sword before you
Mt 18:19
"Again I say to you, that if two of you agree on earth about anything that they may ask, it shall be done for them by My Father who is in heaven.

Also, when the 2 were in prison and began singing, their chains fell off and the prison doors opened.

That would be something done not of faith and certainly not the type of Christians I know and have read about.
And how do you know they were not done "of faith"? You mean someone without faith will take Mark 16:17-18 seriously as they did?

The greater work had to do with number not work itself.the greatest is the work of the God if Christ applies it to the heart. mankind becomes new creatures raised form the dead . When Pentecost came Peter spoke and 3000 believed .The greater work

Sign sand and wonder seekers are for a evil generation of natural unconverted mankind .Prophecy the word of God for the believers.

They took Mark 16:17-18 more literally than yourself, even though you also claimed that signs and wonders are still true today?

Why would a person take a parable literally?

Mark 16:17-18 is not a sign and wonder . It is a sign no wonderment needed .The metaphors in that parable have a assigned value .

Sign and wonders or as the same signs that cause wonderment have a different use. They look ahead to a fulfillment like a faith principle . Like the last sign and wonder of Jonas it was fulfilled by the Son of man .

That passage is not a parable in the first place. Its part of the Great Commission.

Parables as prophecy are part of the Great Commission giving meaning to the word apostle (sent one) . All who hold out the gospel the new tongue are considered apostles. The 12 set aside have a purpose used in other parables that hide the unseen spiritual understanding from natural man .
