Who Has Never Doubted?

Romans 13 says we are to receive
A brother of weak faith, and are to build one another up. I do not know who has never doubted some aspect of who God is, or the nature of God and what He does or does not do. Who can know God in His entirety other than Christ? Therefore we will have confusions and doubts and uncertainties at times. But the gift of faith helps us press on through them all.

Take heart! We are none of us perfect in anyway, including in our faith. But standing in Christ’s faithfulness and righteousness we are indeed perfect [

How do you mean the sinners prayer doesn't save?

I see this posted a lot and dont really get it.

I see the sinners prayer as the same as Romans 10:9-10

Its clear in that chapter.. it is how someone is saved eternally.

I know just saying a pre set bunch of words ain't eternal salvation.

Its conviction from the Holy Spirit that an individual responds to with belief in Jesus.

But yeah.. just not sure what people mean when the say the prayer doesn't save.

the “sinners prayer“ in and of itself saves no-one, but faith in Christ does. Now if anyone says that or any similar prayer or words and God knows it actually does mean the person is acknowledging they have believed in Christ’s sacrifice atoning for their sins, they are saved and God is fine with the prayer etc. I think people just mean Performing a religious act or Saying a specific set of words isn’t what saves us, believing on the Lord Jesus does that.

On the other hand it obviously can’t ‘un-save’ a person to do these things, and they can be helpful ways for that person to express the faith they have to God and others.
It is merely a matter of not trusting in words or deeds in and of themselves that people are warning against.

The best thing I can say here is, look at the Ethiopian eunuch, as an example. Read Acts 8; 35-38. No flow the bouncing ball "I receive you into my heart" " save me from my sins" prayer offered.
Philip preaches, the eunuch believes, and asks to be baptized, Philip baptized and disappeared, the eunuch goes on rejoicing.
Confessing Jesus as Lord with your mouth simply means that, saying that Jesus is Lord, and believing in ones heart is also just that, believing from conviction.

Who among us has never or even often doubted the Bible, God & Christ? Am I the only one that will admit to it, or am I the only truthful one here?

That fact leaves me with the fear of God on my mind wondering if I'll make the cut because of my faith, or often lack thereof.

Thats more to do with self doubt.. Not doubt in God or His Gospel.. Yeah humans if they are focused on their own performance will end up having doubts about their salvation status.. That's why we need to base our confidence on the perfect performance of the LORD Jesus Christ in securing our salvation.. Once we place our confidence all upon Jesus and none upon ourselves we end up being freed from feelings of self doubt.. Because success in salvation is not dependant on self.. It is dependent on the success of Jesus..

Jesus tells us “by faith alone are ye saved.” But what level of faith is saving to the everlasting life?

Do we Believe Jesus? Do we trust ( have Faith ) in the Atonement Jesus secured by His death on the cross? If so then we have the Faith that saves..

Jesus tells us, “who soever believeth in me shall not perish, but have everlasting life,” but doesn’t tell us how strong our belief in him makes the cut or fails to make the cut. Jesus saved the thief on the cross without reservation or condition simply because the thief said Jesus was a just and blameless man.

If you review what the saved man on the cross said.. He said a whole lot more then just ""Jesus was a just and blameless man""

Is it that easy for everybody, one sentence of belief and faith and salvation is guaranteed? How do we know if we’re really saved and what about if we die during a moment of doubt?

I think 90% of doubters are racked with self doubt.. Not doubting God and His promises and His Perfection..
