I'm single because I'm waiting on God....
I say therefore to the unmarried and widows, It is good for them if they abide even as I. -1Cor. 7:8That's not being obedient to God though it sounds religious. It's also why so many Christians become senior singles. "...and God said to them, 'Be fruitful and multiply, and fill the earth, and subdue it.'" Gensis 1:28.
Are you being "fruitful and multiplying?"
I have sinned against people. Not perfect but I always make sure to not to leave someone when im in the relationship. Recently, got this online someone special and he disappeared and said, he was tired for the past 6 months and communicate no more... he told me too, he will come PH this coming OCT, but no more communicating in the email. I was seeing him sometimes checking the site where we two met but that's it... No messages coming from him. So strange but I am no more hoping as for sure, the avoidance and disappearing act means something. No need to ask someone an explanation anymore.
I never give up so easily. But I don't know with those men that I was involved with in the past...![]()
Since she hasn't been active on the site in 7 months, basically days after creating this thread, I'm guessing she won't be answering. How´s everything going there?

Anyone ever experienced that churches ignore single adults?
You are just expected to be married and have kids.
If you are single and above 18 you shouldn't exist and they have
no ministry for you, only for kids/teens
and old people?
That's maybe why we have so few (single) young adults in churches
(and when you are single, finding someone thus gets harder, LOL)

at my church, this is quite true. the young adults (singles) are grouped with the youth. once you're married, you move on to the women's/men's ministry. it's frustrating because i'm 31 and single, so there's not really a group for me. there's only a couple of others singles around my age. i guess it's not very common to be single in late 20+ because people here tend to get married in their early 20s. so i sometimes feel out of place although i help with ministry.

As you can see, the manner in which your church addresses singlehood does not reflect present U.S. demographics. It may; however, reflect that church's demographics.
