Sounds wonderful. We have 38.8 million people here though and it's a really mixed bag ranging from the worst people on earth to some of the very best. Location, location, location... really matter here. You can be in a gang war zone and drive a few miles away and be in the lap of luxury admiring the world's best art at the Getty having a world class latte.
But there are lots of uninsured illegal aliens on the road here. They've run into me and I've run into them over the years. First time I was in the third grade and one sailed through a red light and took out the bicycle I was walking across the cross walk like you're supposed to do. He missed me fortunately. My mother didn't believe my story and so I was punished afterwards for lying and letting my bicycle get destroyed. That's how our parents were in that place and time though. My friend used to get beat black and blue by his father if he lost a fist fight against a Mexican. I know this because he actually lost one once and was beat black and blue for losing by his father.
The illegals always run off after the accident for some reason. I had to chase one down once in a high speed chase once after he pulled a hit and run though the police get credit for the arrest as they got to him before I did. Another time I had one smash into the side of my truck and as I got out he tried to run so I ran over and pulled him out of his car before he could flee but about a thousand cholos started throwing beer bottles at me and screaming they were going to kill me. It was a real mess. I had to let him go and, of course, he sped off and all the cholos started laughing and mocking me. Not much I can do against a thousand cholos lined up and down a long city street so I got in the damaged truck and left... a powerless moment.
I've watched drivers here run over pedestrians on multiple occasions killing one in Van Nuys and maiming another in San Diego. Nobody ever stopped. They just keep right on going afterwards with a "catch me if you can cause I can't stop and won't stop being an insane vato and I don't need no stinking insurance long live Che" attitude.
Now who wants to go on a date with me? LOLOL!

I was reading about how young people used to marry in antiquity. It's really amazing by our cultural standards. But here in the U.S., the average age has always been older than that. The only bitterness is in Lynx which drives him to act out in the manner he does. I forgive him, of course, but he is a false "brother" so I had to remove him from my view. Sad, but necessary to prevent his problem from become mine

I'm not saying anything negative about anyone here... I enjoy Lynx's posts very much and think he adds a lot to the forum.
I also like it when Age posts personal stories... it sounds like he's has a very interesting, not to mention colorful life, and I like it when he shares what he's been through.
I do have to add something I've always been fascinated by though... Adam and Eve fell into sin after eating from the Tree of the KNOWLEDGE of Good and Evil.
I am someone who enjoys knowledge as well, but this one simple fact always reminds me that it has a place and a context... but is also something that can be very dangerous when obtained or exerted outside of the Will of God.

It's telling that to you the choice is either love or ad hominem. And love is not always pretty when it comes out in defense of another being wronged.
There are no hurt feelings here. The only people who have the potential to hurt my feelings are those whose opinions I value, and those spots are reserved for people who I know are truly motivated by love, humility, and generic human decency.
I take issue with you questioning the salvation of people on this board. That is not something I take kindly to. It is un-loving and anti-gospel. If that is not what you were saying, I suggest that you clarify what you meant. I never questioned his salvation ChandlerFan and I'm certainly not questioning your own. I said he's a "false" brother to me because he constantly and deliberately launches personal attacks against my character instead of participating in the topical discussion. So yes, he's a false brother to me who's set himself against me as a self-appointed enemy of mine. That's his behavior and why he's on ignore.
