I don't see how it would really work...but I'm open to it.
Being single all my life and knowing some of the ways the Lord has worked for others...mayhaps something productive comes in an area that at this point there is a battle against some bitterness. Perhaps not real matchmaking but some kind of a different thread that may further things for people a bit?
I've wondered how people meet on the internet quite frankly...most of the Christian females I've met and approached are overly cautious and I do get caution and that is wise but if I can't even approach someone with a PM then I haven't a clue where to begin unless they PM me. I understand it's a dark world and that the enemy is on the prowl, but does that really mean we have to die alone and he gets a free pass to frighten us into dating as "too risky" or marriage as "not likely"? I hope not.
There is this funny idea that the man should always be the one who makes the "first move" and while that is deep within me as a courage thing and there's something to it, I don't see it as exactly unscriptural for it to be otherwise just something seems "off" about it, but I can't quite pin it down.
Anyway, if the idea blossoms, great. I actually read that other thread a few months ago, I'm not precisely sure how I stumbled into it but if I recall aright Lynx was paired with blue_ladybug and there did appear to be a much younger user into EDM or something that age was brought up.
