Where is the Ark of the Covenant?

What become of the Ark of the Covenant after the fall of Jerusalem. There are many theories. Some believe that God had take the Art from the Earth. Some have said that Levite Priests hide the Art within the city itself. Others claim that the Vatican has been in position since ancient times.

Of course none of these theories have any evidence of such. The one I find most interesting is the Tewahedo Church in Ethiopia claim. Of course I believe this farfetched.

Thoughts? Theories?

I believe this topic was brought up recently in another thread. Short Answer: the Ark of the Covenant has been in Heaven since that time.

And the temple of God was opened in Heaven, and there was seen in His temple the Ark of His Testament (Covenant): and there were lightnings, and voices, and thunderings, and an earthquake, and great hail. (Rev 11:19)

This scene is from just after the Tribulation and before the Great Tribulation.
