If your understanding of the Rapture is correct, you should full well know that the requirements for being raptured have to do with believing in Christ... not in believing in a pre-trib rapture.
As evidenced by nearly 2000 years of Believers and their testimonies, we know that the two things are not synonymous.
No Believer will be left behind. Don't make that threat. It is against Christ Himself, and His ability to KNOW who is His and who is not.
If you do the research, you will find that the at the Faith of Abraham is Believing with all your heart (An inner personal LOVE RELATIONSHIP), and all your trust in what GOD has said. Even the Jews that are part of the LORD's Assembly, understood that, and that IS what they meant when they used the word BELIEVE.
NOTHING LESS equates to Salvation. English speaking people, put a MUCH lesser meaning on the word BELIEVE, than the Jews do and especially what the BIBLE means by the word BELIEVE. We have a tendency to think that just acknowledging who Jesus Christ is, and acknowledging that he did do the miracles recorded in the Bible, equates to what the Bible means by the word BELIEVE. WRONG! Even the demons believe that much. If you DO NOT HAVE that inner personal LOVE relationship with Jesus Christ as LORD, which means willingly submitting to HIM as
Master, you are a lost person who only knows ABOUT JESUS; and does not really KNOW JESUS:
Matthew 25:1-13 (ESV)
[SUP]1 [/SUP] “Then the kingdom of heaven will be like ten virgins who took their lamps and went to meet the bridegroom.
[SUP]2 [/SUP] Five of them were foolish, and five were wise.
[SUP]3 [/SUP] For when the foolish took their lamps, they took no oil with them,
[SUP]4 [/SUP] but the wise took flasks of oil with their lamps.
[SUP]5 [/SUP] As the bridegroom was delayed, they all became drowsy and slept.
[SUP]6 [/SUP] But at midnight there was a cry, ‘Here is the bridegroom! Come out to meet him.’
[SUP]7 [/SUP] Then all those virgins rose and trimmed their lamps.
[SUP]8 [/SUP] And the foolish said to the wise, ‘Give us some of your oil, for our lamps are going out.’
[SUP]9 [/SUP] But the wise answered, saying, ‘Since there will not be enough for us and for you, go rather to the dealers and buy for yourselves.’
[SUP]10 [/SUP] And while they were going to buy, the bridegroom came, and those who were ready went in with him to the marriage feast, and the door was shut.
[SUP]11 [/SUP] Afterward the other virgins came also, saying, ‘Lord, lord, open to us.’
[SUP]12 [/SUP] But he answered, ‘Truly, I say to you, I do not know you.’
[SUP]13 [/SUP] Watch therefore, for you know neither the day nor the hour.
Matthew 7:21-23 (ESV)
[SUP]21 [/SUP] “Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven.
[SUP]22 [/SUP] On that day many will say to me, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and cast out demons in your name, and do many mighty works in your name?’
[SUP]23 [/SUP] And then will I declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from me, you workers of lawlessness.’
Matthew 7:13-14 (ESV)
[SUP]13 [/SUP] “Enter by the narrow gate. For the gate is wide and the way is easy that leads to destruction, and those who enter by it are many. {Everyone that came through that WIDE gate, thinks they are a Christian, but they lowered the meaning of the word BELIEVE, and therefore will be left behind like the 5 foolish virgins.}
[SUP]14 [/SUP] For the gate is narrow and the way is hard that leads to life, and those who find it are few.
Luke 13:23-25 (NKJV)
[SUP]23 [/SUP] Then one said to Him, "Lord, are there few who are saved?" And He said to them,
[SUP]24 [/SUP] "Strive to enter through the narrow gate, for many, I say to you, will seek to enter and will not be able.
[SUP]25 [/SUP] When once the Master of the house has risen up and shut the door, and you begin to stand outside and knock at the door, saying, 'Lord, Lord, open for us,' and He will answer and say to you, 'I do not know you, where you are from,'
No inner personal LOVE relationship with JESUS CHRIST does NOT equate to Salvation, it equates to STILL LOST.
John 14:15-17 (ESV)
[SUP]15 [/SUP] “If you love me, you will keep my commandments.
[SUP]16 [/SUP] And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another Helper, to be with you forever,
[SUP]17 [/SUP] even the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees him nor knows him. You know him, for he dwells with you and will be in you.
1 John 2:3-5 (ESV)
[SUP]
3 [/SUP] And by this we know that we have come to know him, if we keep his commandments.
[SUP]
4 [/SUP] Whoever says “
I know him”
but does not keep his commandments is a liar, and the truth is not in him,
[SUP]
5 [/SUP] but whoever keeps his word, in him truly the love of God is perfected. By this we may know that we are in him:
Revelation 21:8 (ESV)
[SUP]
8 [/SUP] But as for the cowardly, the faithless, the detestable, as for murderers, the sexually immoral, sorcerers, idolaters, and
all liars, their portion will be in the lake that burns with fire and sulfur, which is the second death.”
NO, that is not Works Righteous! If you are genuinely SAVED BY HIS GRACE, the Holy Spirit will have POURED GOD's LOVE into your heart the moment that you genuinely believed.
Romans 5:5 (ESV)
[SUP]
5 [/SUP] and hope does not put us to shame, because
God’s love has been poured into our hearts through the Holy Spirit who has been given to us.
That is why, I can say, NO DEEP LOVE FOR GOD, the LORD JESUS CHRIST, equates to NOT being saved yet. It is out of GOD's LOVE that the Holy Spirit poured into our hearts, that our LOVE for HIM and our DESIRE to OBEY HIM spawns. We do not get to pat ourselves on the back for any of it.
No, I am not being judgmental, but I like Paul, want to declare to all the WHOLE COUNSEL OF GOD; and not a watered down, easy believism gospel.
Acts 20:27 (ESV)
[SUP]
27 [/SUP] for I did not shrink from declaring to you the whole counsel of God.
