Shine forth in the middle of the darkness, as those falling away, will continue to Sacrifice Truth for love and unity.. Why did the apostles and disciples and Jesus himself speak in this way looking forward to a second coming in plain view and not something secret? The wording in this verse clearly indicates they look for ONE second coming on display and not some secret departure.

Paul is talking about eternally not temporally otherwise as soon as any person got saved life would be easy street by your interpretation.
