A recent frustrated post by one of my favorite Okie weathermen that I found humorous...

Whats the weather like where you are?

Nothing but blue skies everyday… storms come and go, only blue skies are constant everyday.

When the storms come, got to go higher on those days… higher and higher until you’re above the storm and you hangout in the blue sky until the storm passes… then you come back down to earth… it’s what eagles do.

Storms don’t suddenly appear and catch the eagle by surprise, unprepared. Eagles see a storm coming and they know how to get in position and wait for the gust of wind, we wait on the wind of the Holy Spirit.

The wind comes and the eagle spreads its wings and the wind lifts the eagle. With three strong thrusts of its wings, the eagle soars higher and higher lifted by the wind as if the wind is the Hands of God picking up the eagle and raising it to blue skies… where the eagle stays until the storm is over.

Lord, teach us to be like the eagle… to be seated with Christ in heavenly places able to see the approaching storm and to know it is Your Will that we not suffer the storm but trust You to raise us up above the storm to blue skies, amen.

Nice morning here in Galveston, Texas. I guess we’ll hit 80 and above today.
