Hey, we did that here too (Texas). Then as teens we got in cars with seatbelts and steering wheels we couldn't touch. :ROFL:
 
Locusts have been here for 2 weeks so another month we should get a frost.
 
It stormed this morning, but now the sun is shining brightly. And the cicadas have been screaming for months. I'm thankful to have a very shady yard (even if the cicadas drive me bonkers all summer long)...

lots of cicadas in north ga, and yes they are quite loud, but they really don't bother me..:)

Some years they aren't too bad. Some years they are really loud and some years they are maddening lol. In 2017 and this year, the noise level was insanity inducing :LOL:
I'll be inside with the fan and a/c running and music on and they are still maddening. Not every year is that bad though. Thankfully!
