It stormed this morning, but now the sun is shining brightly. And the cicadas have been screaming for months. I'm thankful to have a very shady yard (even if the cicadas drive me bonkers all summer long)...

Some years they aren't too bad. Some years they are really loud and some years they are maddening lol. In 2017 and this year, the noise level was insanity inducing
I'll be inside with the fan and a/c running and music on and they are still maddening. Not every year is that bad though. Thankfully!
Apparently, I live in the 'no' zone.
I'm in Satan's armpit. Personally, I think what it's calling the Habitable Zone is a No for me. The further north, the more the joints ache in the winter.
