We take a look at the conversations between Jesus and Pilate in John 18:38
John 18:38
Pilate saith unto him, What is truth? And when he had said this, he went out again unto the Jews, and saith unto them, I find in him no fault at all.

With all the deviation and the substitution with mans 'ideas' and 'tradition' as we see today, its getting very hard to an answer, that 'rightly dividing the word of truth'. We see how many handle truth today, basically for the sake of appearance. Many 'talk the talk' but do little of the 'walk', its a cosmetic truth for show and not for real. We find how the Jews wanted to receive the Passover, but not receive the One to whom the Passover meal pointed. Their religion was for show but not for real, basically a form of godliness but...

Now we have to deal with the Woke movement who wants to have any reality they want.

Because of the way American society operates being highly selfish, arrogant, loving money and material things, and a me attitude.

And fighting, and belittling, and being sarcastic, and exalting themselves more than any other nation earth on the internet.

It made the youth/young adults feel insecure, and have low self esteem for they do not feel like they are important and a nobody in society.

Ta da the birth of the Woke movement.

Wanting to exalt themselves going against mainstream society and becoming transgender and binary and want any pronoun they want to confirm their attitude they can live however they want so back off.

They are stepping out of the bounds of reality to exalt themselves and like they can be whatever they want.

They say 2+2=3 if that is what they want.

A man can say I identify as a man but they will say if I say you are a woman then to me you are a woman.

But if you misgender them they get mad and belligerent.

They are mean spirited and hateful all the while their arrogance puffed because of low self esteem justifies their behavior they do nothing wrong and their opposition is the bad guy.

This is what the new age wants for them to believe they can be whatever gender and pronoun they want to be to create the mindset they can be whatever they want to be then they can convince them they will evolve to be spiritual, and greater.

These people will follow the new age and the antichrist and will become terrible people, no mercy, no compassion, going against all people who oppose them.

Which God said their conscious is seared with a hot iron.

So these people will say what is truth for it is whatever they want to believe is truth.

Which the time will come that they will not want to hear the truth of the Bible but according to their own lusts the new age.

Which they interpret the Bible and religions according to the occult and evolution, and there is no personal God.

So then atheists eventually will be arguing with Christians over the Bible.

The what is truth is getting more involved in fantasy land as time goes on.

Which means they will not want to listen to Christians more.

I explain how I do it in the Apologetics thread and Lesson 1 of our website <truthseekersfellowship.com>

Short answer: truth is a Person

Longer answer: while truth is fundamentally objective, it is tempered and filtered by personal experiences. This results in the strange concept of “my truth” which is really personal conclusion based on limited information, bias, and openness (or lack thereof).

Jesus said he is the truth . . .

John 14:6
6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

The Hebrew word “yada” refers to intimate knowledge gained by experience, such as with Genesis 4:1, where Adam knew (yada) Eve, she conceived, and gave birth to Cain. God’s way is the way to know (yada) Him and Jesus by experiencing being in His likeness through being a doer of His character traits, which is the way to eternal life (John 17:3). For example, Genesis 18:19, God knew (yada) Abraham that he would teach his children and those of His household to walk in His way by being a doer of righteousness and justice that the Lord might bring to him all that He has promised. In Exodus 33:13, Moses wanted God to be gracious to him by teaching him to walk in His way that he and Israel might know (yada) Him, and in Matthew 7:23, Jesus said that he would tell those who are workers of lawlessness to depart from him because he never knew them, so the goal of the law is to graciously teach us how to have an intimate relationship with God and Jesus, which is His gift of eternal life.

To know God is to know truth, which is the target that our lives were created to be aimed at. An arrow flies true when it hits its mark, our mark is to walk in God’s way by being, and God’s law is truth (Psalms 119:142) because it was graciously given to teach us how to walk in God’s way (1 Kings 2:1-3) while sin is missing the mark, sin is what is contrary to God’s character, and sin is the transgression of God’s law (1 John 3:4). The Spirit has the role of leading us in truth (John 16:13) and of leading us to obey God’s law (Ezekiel 36:26-27) because God’s character traits are the fruits of the Spirit. The Son is the radiance of God’s glory and the exact likeness of His character (Hebrews 1:3), which he embodied through his works by setting a sinless example for us to follow of how to walk in obedience to God’s law, so he is the way, the truth, and the life, and the way to know the Father (John 14:6-11).

2 Timothy 3:1-5
New International Version

3 But mark this: There will be terrible times in the last days. 2 People will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boastful, proud, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, 3 without love, unforgiving, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not lovers of the good, 4 treacherous, rash, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God— 5 having a form of godliness but denying its power. Have nothing to do with such people.

Genesis 1:27
New International Version

27 So God created mankind in his own image,
in the image of God he created them;
male and female he created them.

1 Timothy 4
New International Version

4 The Spirit clearly says that in later times some will abandon the faith and follow deceiving spirits and things taught by demons. 2 Such teachings come through hypocritical liars, whose consciences have been seared as with a hot iron

Isaiah 5:20
New International Version

20 Woe to those who call evil good
and good evil,
who put darkness for light
and light for darkness,
who put bitter for sweet
and sweet for bitter.

1 Corinthians 15:57
New International Version

57 But thanks be to God! He gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.

Matthew 13:15
New International Version

15 For this people’s heart has become calloused;
they hardly hear with their ears,
and they have closed their eyes.
Otherwise they might see with their eyes,
hear with their ears,
understand with their hearts
and turn, and I would heal them.’

Pilate was probably aware of the writings of philosophers who for centuries have speculated on truth without coming to an understanding. In his world weary way he asks, "what it truth?" of the very person who is truth.

The bible calls four things truth, God the father, God the son, God the Holy Spirit, and the word of God.

The bible calls four things truth, God the father, God the son, God the Holy Spirit, and the word of God.

And the NT indicates the following GW is essential truth:
  1. There is a/one all-loving and just Lord or Creator God (Deut. 6:4, John 3:16, 2Thes. 1:6), who is both able (2Tim. 1:12) and willing (1Tim. 2:3-4, Ezek. 33:11) to provide all morally accountable human beings salvation or heaven—a wonderful life full of love, joy and peace forever.
  2. Human beings are selfish or sinful (Rom. 3:23, 2Tim. 3:2-4, Col. 3:5), miserable (Gal. 5:19-21), and hopeless (Eph. 2:12) or hell-bound at the judgment (Matt. 23:33 & 25:46) when they reject God’s salvation (John 3:18, Rom. 2:5-11).
  3. Jesus is God’s Messiah/Christ and incarnate Son, the way that God has chosen (John 3:16, Acts 16:30-31, Phil. 2:9-11) of providing salvation by means of his atoning death on the cross for the payment of the penalty for the sins of humanity (Rom. 3:22-25 & 5:9-11), followed by his resurrection to reign in heaven (1Cor. 15:14-28).
  4. Thus, every person who hears the NT Gospel needs to repent and accept God’s grace or justification in Jesus as Christ/Messiah the Lord or Supreme Commander (Luke 2:11, John 14:6, Acts 16:31), at which moment God’s loving Holy Spirit of Christ indwells/baptizes the believer into the church (Rev. 3:20, Rom. 5:5, 1Cor. 12:13).
  5. Loving Christ Jesus as Lord (Luke 2:11), God the Son (Matt. 16:16) or God in the human dimension (Col. 2:9) means reflecting divine love as empowered by the Holy Spirit, thereby obeying His command to love one another (Matt. 7:21, 22:37-40, John 13:35, Rom. 13:9)—forever (Matt. 10:22, Psa. 113:2), which will eventually achieve spiritual maturity on earth and heaven after Christ returns at God’s resurrection (John 14:6, 17&26, Rom. 8:6-17, Gal. 6:7-9, Eph. 1:13-14, Phil. 3:12-16, Heb. 10:36, 12:1, Jam. 1:2-4).

Why must you pollute every thread you touch with your judaizing claptrap, which is neither true nor relevant?

Truth, only God Father in risen Son reveals. God loves us all 1 John 2:1-27
The change of life from first birth to second birth, God Father reveals, and it is different for each person in belief to see eventually after many troubles happen first. on earth, trying to get one, anyone to deny God, just like in the book of Job.
Father reveals to all who will not deny God. Even though circumstances, bad ones get people, to want to deny God!
Whoever is one that feels thought(s) to deny God, and ends with can't are in by God, God in them, get taught new from all things good or bad that happens, happened or might happen to them. Content in all things good or bad
Noting Paul in Jail
Did not complain about it. I bet had thoughts to complain and yet chose to continue to praise God no matter what the circumstances were.
The Jail help came to believe God too, after seeing Paul continue to praise God no matter what the circumstances were.
Love always overcomes evil God's love 1 Cor 13:4-17 gets imputed in us each that will not quit beleif to God just loves us all, at least me, then the next person as well, Wow, woe is me Isaiah 6:1-7
