I stay awake at night wishing and hoping,
longing and praying that it works
But deep down i know it wont
Something i knew from the start
been trying to silence my conscience
but its too loud for me almost breaking my ear drums
I stay there to enjoy the moment
i knew it was not right yet i stayed on
off course it was enjoyable
only when i blinded myself to the consequences of my actions
and now here I am with only one person to blame`myself'
I know its time to move on
time to make the difficult first step
But i need courage and strength to do that
That which only God can give.
Once i do that then will i be free
free from pain and misery
and hopeful yes hopeful for tomorrow
when true love will come knocking at my door
and then i will know that for sure love does exist.
