What happened?

So I tried to switch pages at one point and it made a pop up that said the owners have banned me, try again later...
It started working again and let me onto where I was going, but...the owners? So I don't think that it was my computer, it must be in yours.

I can't be banned. I'm not even arguing with anybody, lol.

So, can you guys tell me what happened? Some sort of glitch maybe?

Clearly you are not banned because you are able to post this thread.

Most bans are linked to the user name only (although we can connect a current user to a formerly banned user via IP information).

Occasionally a specific IP will get banned due to chronic misbehavior from that specific IP.

Looking at your IP history, it looks like you are accessing CC via a mobile device since every IP is linked to AT&T in which case you probably (by no fault of your own) ended up incidentally getting connected via a banned IP address.

It's a Cloud Flare rate limiting error 1015. It's temporary and will eventually let you back in but maybe not for long. Something's not right on the server side. For some reason it thinks people are bots who aren't bots. It's not just you, it's been happening to others for awhile now.

I don't even know, lol! I have a Dell desktop and it's sorta long in the tooth. I know I don't 5G so I guess it must be 4G.

My IT guy was my son and I moved away and left him in Colorado, so I'm pretty lost on a lot of it.

Last time I got a banned message, it looked like a variant of CloudFlare DDoS protection. Specifically shutting down an IP range. Guessing he got one too.
