Sometimes the only way to keep sinful people from doing great harm to the innocent is by going to war.
What does the Bible say about war?
Please do not tell me I do not have the spirit because the spirit resides inside every person and I know god speaks to me in my prayers and through my huge conscience he gave me.

But I think war is a sin if Chrisitans in the war dont follow God over their commanders.
 
I know I have the spirit in my heart. And I even asked my senior pastor and he said that that isrealites went into war at the command of god and that god would be sinning if war was a sin.
Techinally even if not all of our leaders today are chrisitan we are stopping sinful corrupt governments and we are trying to stop sinful terrorsit attacks.
Yes, I wish that our leaders were Chrisitan but war had to be fought to keep our country safe and even make our country a country. Most of the colonists were one or another type of chirsitan as well. I would think if God knew that it was going to be this big an issue that he would have told us that war was a sin.

But Please do not insult me with the lie that I dont have the Holy Spirit of God in my heart because I know I do.

killing is not a sin in less God say it is wrong. Sin is not simply stealing and robbing and murdering, really sin is the attitude of a being that turns on God's word. Like not all stealing is wrong because we need to steal the unsaved people from the clutches of the devils hands. And yes God did command for the army to kill but that was by His word at that time and now He says do not murder or kill then we should not kill or murder. again sin is not just murdering but not obeying God......It was not the fruit that Adam and Eve received sin but the disobedience of God's command not to eat it......

Did this support anything or the opposite?

to DanuckInUSA: GOD's Spirit makes us loving, happy, peaceful, patient, kind, good, faithful, gentle, and self-controlled. that's how it is written in the Bible i have. and i know being a soldier would cause me to disregard one or some of those characteristics. but for now, i'm still focusing on what i've become as a trainee. (Praise be to GOD alone). and i'm just praying hard if GOD would allow my desire to happen. well, i also see this profession helpful to reach out to other people and tell them about the good news of Salvation :) thank you for the scripture. :)

to xJOE: i'm working on it :) i'm still continuing my trainings. wow, i forgot about that. thank you for reminding me that i really should offer everything i do to Him. because honestly, sometimes i think of doing it for my own :( thank you :)

to TheJESUSFreak: wow, thank you dear. i also believe being a military would be a profession for my country's protection. thank you :)

to EverlastingChange: i really quite feel the need because my school would be sending trainees this summer and finalizing who would be able to join. and if i wont be sent to that 1-month training, i won't be able to continue being an officer in the school. thanks for the verse. it speaks to me, maybe GOD's plan is for me to wait for the next batch of trainees to be sent or choose another road to take and become someone else in the line of jobs on earth. thank you :)

The bible actually never says do not kill it says do not murder which is killing out of hate anger or dislike.
Just pray to god and be open to ant answer he gives you.

They're supposed to do bad things to you in training. The goal is to utterly break you and reconstruct you according to their own specifications.
 
yeah maybe you should pray more because it could be your own wants overpowering gods voice
