I believe He was declaring that the work His Father assigned Him was completed: the work of fulfilling the Law, defeating the devil, overcoming death, and opening the way of salvation for all humanity.He didn't say the word "it" in any language. He only said one word, τελέω teleō which means finished and then he died so he was talking about his life being over, that he would die and then he did.
