What does it mean to be taken away in the spirit when having a vision

It can mean that one's vision shows them in a different place (like a dream), or it can mean that the person is in a trance- or dream-like state where they are unresponsive to stimuli around them. I've experienced the latter and heard a firsthand testimony of the former.

basically it is like you are here physically but somewhere else in spirit this has happened to me several times before and it is like a movie playing out in your mind you can describe every detail of what your seeing but your not there physically. think of it like daydreaming sort of

I will come to visions and revelations of the Lord. 2 I knew a man in Christ above fourteen years ago, (whether in the body, I cannot tell; or whether out of the body, I cannot tell: God knoweth;) such an one caught up to the third heaven. 3 And I knew such a man, (whether in the body, or out of the body, I cannot tell: God knoweth;) 4 how that he was caught up into paradise, and heard unspeakable words, which it is not lawful for a man to utter. 5 Of such an one will I glory: yet of myself I will not glory, but in mine infirmities. 6 For though I would desire to glory, I shall not be a fool; for I will say the truth: but now I forbear, lest any man should think of me above that which he seeth me to be, or that he heareth of me.

12 This boasting is all so foolish, but let me go on. Let me tell about the visions I’ve had, and revelations from the Lord.
2-3 Fourteen years ago I[a] was taken up to heaven for a visit. Don’t ask me whether my body was there or just my spirit, for I don’t know; only God can answer that. But anyway, there I was in paradise, 4 and heard things so astounding that they are beyond a man’s power to describe or put in words (and anyway I am not allowed to tell them to others). 5 That experience is something worth bragging about, but I am not going to do it. I am going to boast only about how weak I am and how great God is to use such weakness for his glory. 6 I have plenty to boast about and would be no fool in doing it, but I don’t want anyone to think more highly of me than he should from what he can actually see in my life and my message.

God loves you and us all, God uses the willing people, not the have to's and should have's or better have's the attitudes of first born flesh.
As soon as anything happens here on earth, it is past so fast, I could not even blink my eye, could anyone else? I think not being realistic
So, continue to be willing to be used By God and God will do the job needed as is done in Son for us all, thanks
Believe, receive and see, if not see yet, continue no matter what happens, thanks (Col 1:21-23)

Well right now look around.. if you were as you asked taken way you would not know the difference. Many time I will say taken away in the spirit is more real if that makes sense.

You know Christ rose AMEN! Then walked here for 40 days and Paul in the spirit or body didn't know.... God has not changed :)

Its something where I would and do test the spirits and makes sure it goes inline with Gods word.

Is this in line with God's word
"God just loves us all" each person personally and wants what is in truth best for each person?
Now, when I do not get what I want, I stand in trust, not knowing why I did not or do not get it, because Father knows best
So I see to stand down, knowing my daddy knows best anyone else
