My sister gave me a book called 'We can do hard things'
I found out that the authors were lesbians, one was a former Christian, and her wife is like this super well known soccer player (which I didn't know about, because I'm not a lesbian...) and her sister, who as far as I know is perhaps straight. I don't judge them, everyone has their own life journeys I suppose.
Maybe as it's a book for women, my sister was meant to be encouraging, that I can do things without relying on other people perhaps. It's not anti-men, its just sisters doing things for themselves?
I gave my sister a book called 'Cats with Jobs'. My sister isn't a cat, but impressed by cats with jobs, especially Daisy the hospital cat, who comforted patients when they were ill. Mum loved seeing Daisy in the hospital.
