A Working Man (2025) A good movie for this weekend.

In one part of the movie, one of the bad guys slaps a woman.
Statham hits him and says, "That's for slapping that woman."
The bad guy says, "That woman was my wife."
Statham hits him again and says, "That's for slapping your wife!" 😂 🏆

Death Wish (2018)
&
Assault on Precinct 13 (2005)

It's taken me a long time to get around to these remakes. The original Assault on Precinct 13 (1976) is one of my favorite movies and I like all the old Death Wish movies. I have all these subscriptions now and they are there to be watched, so why not. I thought the Death Wish remake was great. It was very good in its own way. I wasn't as thrilled with the remake of Assault on Precinct 13. For about the first 1/3 of the movie I found the acting to be annoying (except for Laurence Fishburne, his acting was pretty good throughout). The movie does get better. But, maybe because I'm bias to a favorite of mine, it wasn't measuring up to the original.

Oh, that's a really deep one. My favorite is "Avoid the appearance of evil." What do you do with that, because technically, a person could use it to deliberately be a hypocrite, although I'm sure that's fairly uncommon. What do you think of interpreting that to mean avoiding evil when you see it around you, because current events are not Heavenly at all.

Also, if you did get a sense of deja vu, how would you react? Visons and dreams are not household conversation, people run away to secretly discuss them with perspectivation psychologists, whose usual response is that it's all about interpersonal relationships and advise them to just reimagine the feelings and "work" with the other people involved.

I suppose there's always, "Resist the devil and he will flee from you." but I find that that works considerably less well on robbers, rioters sp+aff charge, and racketeers.
Yes i see this

Escape Plan 2: Hades ...Not bad. Not as good as the first Escape Plan, but entertaining.

Escape Plan 3: The Extractors ...Yawn 🥱 I thought this one was boring. If it wasn't for Zhang Jin and Bautista, it would have been super boring.

Avengement (2019) A lot of fists flying in this movie, but I think there was even more cussing.

Death Note is 19 years old this fall. It still seems so modern. There's a guy on Youtube that made a video about Columbo solving the Kira case. Its pretty good.

Twisted Metal
The new season started yesterday and 3 episodes are available to watch on Peacock. I watched 2 yesterday and one today. Finally! I've been waiting for this season. Cartoonish mayhem! 🤡

Cocaine Bear (2023) This is more of a comedy than based off the true story. If you want the true story, seek out a documentary. Having said that, it was oddly entertaining.

What would you suggest?
Honestly ? Just keep watching the old classics , in Britain we have a TV channel called Talking Pictures TV , all old films and TV shows from last century . It's my favourite channel ❤️ maybe u can get it on the internet ?

I am 77 years old and just cannot get into these modern movies or tv.
To much needless violence, sex, profanity, and very poor scrips and actors.
So I only watch the old classics.
