As someone who admits that their biblical understanding is only around 2.5 out of 10, I must reject your recommendations in this post because of the low level of biblical understanding you admit to having. You are wrong about eternal torture and wrong about the correctness of TDW's posts. If YOU want to increase that 2.5 score, then start listening to me, runningman, Laura and the other's that I don't have time to search for and list. Basically listen to the Annihilationists and starting considering the massive amount of scriptural evidence offered. Your score will soon go up much higher as a result.

Death is not the end of existence. All people are born dead in trespass and sin. Why would the second death be the end of existence? Lord Jesus said that God could (not would) destroy body and soul. All people have are spirit. There is no mention of the spirit being extinguished or destroyed. How do you destroy a spirit anyway?
If God is going to annihilate unbelievers, there is no reason for judgement. There is little incentive for people to repent. People love sin, they hate God and hate God's ways. What is to fear if God is going to annihilate sinners? Yet unbelievers will be terrified when Jesus returns. "Don't worry, the atheists are right, there is no existence after death". Sorry, that makes no sense. And it requires reading into scripture what it does not say.
Sure, the concept of hell as fire and brimstone with demons poking people is false. But death is fundamentally separation from God. God offers salvation, but not all want to be saved. God respects that choice. And sinners will exist forever, knowing that they could have been saved but refused. A sobering thought. The fear of God is the beginning of wisdom.
It is when you die in a fire that God created.

That's completely false. Scripture is very clear that God is going to annihilate the wicked. Only eternal torture requires reading into scripture what it does not say.
Rev 21:4 And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.
A lot of negative things will not exist in the future.
Wiping tears away means no more tears. Tears will not exist.
There shall be no more death. Death will not exist.
There shall be no more sorrow. Sorrow will not exist.
There shall be no more crying. Crying will not exist.
There shall be no more pain. Pain will not exist.
"for the former things are passed away." That means they are gone, gone everywhere, gone forever. If those things existed anywhere then the scripture would be lying.
Tears, death, sorrow, crying and pain will be Annihilated and shall never again exist. Is it such a stretch that the unsaved wicked people will also be Annihilated? Scripture over and over promises that they shall be Annihilated. Believe what scripture says and reject false doctrines that teach otherwise.
John_3:36 He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life ; but the wrath of God abideth on him.
"shall not see life" means will not be alive.
Mat_10:28 And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell .
Being destroyed means they are Annihilated.
Psalms 37:20 But the wicked shall perish, and the enemies of the LORD shall be as the fat of lambs: they shall consume; into smoke shall they consume away.
Perishing and being burned and being consumed into smoke means they are Annihilated.
This is just a small offering of what the bible actually teaches on this subject.

He is talking to his people after the GWT and rewards and judgments have passed.
HIS PEOPLE,the new Jerusalem,new heaven and earth.
Life,death and suffering as we know it are done as faithful of God!

Annihilationist do not believe in the lake of fire as the good book says “the wicked will be destroyed.” Therefore will miss out on this blessing!” The point is sorrow and suffering are destroyed EVERYWHERE— God definitely means what He says.

And all Annihilationists are in agreement with that! As I have said before we have sited 100's of literal verses that say man's end is death/destruction, vs the handful of figurative verses sited to support Eternal Conscious Torment--which some of us once believed. Why? Because that is what we were taught as children. But when we investigated it for ourselves as adults, we discovered the truth that was there all the time! And that ECT is a pagan myth the church used to scare people into doing what the church wanted them to do for example paying for indulgences to get them to heaven or their loved ones out of hell. Centuries ago in the Roman Catholic church, the common man did not have access to the Scriptures--often the common man in the Protestant church may not have been able to read. Believers who live in modern times have the Holy Scriptures easily available to them and so are without excuse for believing in a pagan myth that blasphemes God and denies Christ paid the penalty of DEATH in our place. PS have any of you on the ECT bothered to read the verses we have sited?

Why do you equate the second death with the first? Saying there is no reason for judgment if the wicked pass out of existence is very short sighted. You also say a death sentence is little deterrent. Again, very short sighted. What you say makes no sense! Men are lovers of self, and do not want to die. The fear of death is explicitly given as the reason for man's slavery to sin, but you count it as nothing?
Yes, every knee shall bow and every tongue confess that Jesus is Lord. Do we take that to mean universalism? I sure don't. Reading literally you would have to. What does someone who has washed themselves in the blood of the Lamb look like? A literal reading would have someone bathing in blood. We know that is not what we do, but people make all kinds of ridiculous statements trying to discredit those they disagree with while they claim to take the Bible literally.
The Bible explicitly states that God alone is immortal. Somehow you jumped from that to, well then nobody will be in heaven! That is being unreasonable and overlooks one of the main Bible messages. As if immortality is not put on by grace alone, through faith alone, in Christ alone.
Life is in Christ alone. You see the destruction of the wicked as being cruel but not eternal conscious torment.
That does not make sense.
