Very good Rob7. I am not an adventist but you are very correct about the Law.
I do think this scripture needs a little clarification...

Rom 10:4 For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to every one that believeth.

What does the word 'end' really mean here? it is this Greek word...

G5056
τέλος
telos
tel'-os
From a primary word τέλλω tellō (to set out for a definite point or goal); properly the point aimed at as a limit, that is, (by implication) the conclusion of an act or state (termination [literally, figuratively or indefinitely], result [immediate, ultimate or prophetic], purpose); specifically an impost or levy (as paid): - + continual, custom, end (-ing), finally, uttermost. Compare G5411.

Jesus is the result, the conclusion of the Law. He did not put an end to it, He shows us what the Law produces when kept.

"Oh but nobody can keep the Law" and yet we are told this by the Apostle John...

1Jn 1:7 But if we walk in the light as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses us from all sin.
1Jn 1:8 If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.
1Jn 1:9 If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
1Jn 1:10 If we say that we have not sinned, we make Him a liar, and His word is not in us.
1Jn 2:1 My little children, these things I write to you, so that you may not sin. And if anyone sins, we have an Advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous.
1Jn 2:2 And He Himself is the propitiation for our sins, and not for ours only but also for the whole world.
1Jn 2:3 Now by this we know that we know Him, if we keep His commandments.
1Jn 2:4 He who says, "I know Him," and does not keep His commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him.
1Jn 2:5 But whoever keeps His word, truly the love of God is perfected in him. By this we know that we are in Him.
1Jn 2:6 He who says he abides in Him ought himself also to walk just as He walked.

So, how did Christ walk? He sums it up when the rich young ruler came to Him...

Mat 19:16 Now behold, one came and said to Him, "Good Teacher, what good thing shall I do that I may have eternal life?"
Mat 19:17 So He said to him, "Why do you call Me good? No one is good but One, that is, God. But if you want to enter into life, keep the commandments."

Yes but what Commandents?

Mat 19:18 He said to Him, "Which ones?" Jesus said, " 'YOU SHALL NOT MURDER,' 'YOU SHALL NOT COMMIT ADULTERY,' 'YOU SHALL NOT STEAL,' 'YOU SHALL NOT BEAR FALSE WITNESS,'

He is referring here to the Ten Commandments

Oh and by the way, Rob7, Happy Sabbath to you also.

1 John 2:3-5
King James Version

3 And hereby we do know that we know him, if we keep his commandments.
4 He that saith, I know him, and keepeth not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him.
5 But whoso keepeth his word, in him verily is the love of God perfected: hereby know we that we are in him.

So what are his commandments?
Matthew Ch 25 V 31-46 and Matthew Ch 5+6+7 r full of guidance on what kind of behaviour is required from those who profess Christ .

I'm sorry Brother for not responding to your above comment. Some how I missed it. Forgive me for not appreciating your response to my " God's Law & Character are STILL valid & required for salvation" in this dying world.

I'm just in this CC Forum, to try to enlighten ( Love ) my friends & neighbors that are believing the anti-Christ spirit, following the "dispensation" doctrine, which is a means to negate the Father's Character, ... Jesus' sacrifice, in the world. Without the moral law, Ex20, there would be no need for the Lamb of God, His Faith and obedience to His Fathers Law, to fulfilled the covenant as Israel , so that His Church, as spiritual Israel, IN CHRIST, becomes robed in His Righteousness, doing the Father's Will, from a position of Christ's Spirit, dwelling IN US, witnessing to the Righteousness of Christ, Jesus, to the world, Rev 14 ... "It's ALL about HIM"

So! That's why I am here ... trying to figure out WHY peoples are SO ..... So ! ..... STUPID !
I'm referring to Dietrich Bonhoeffer's, Bertram Russel's, and Hannah Arendt's definitions of "Stupidity" ... Many Christians believe themselves "right with Christ" BUT ... It's on their terms, and not Jesus' ... and their lack of critical thinking ... keeps them from experiencing Christ, being converted & born again... into HIS Righteousness. Such is the "way of the world", rather than the "Way of Christ."

― Dietrich Bonhoeffer, => Theory of Stupidity 29 min narrated video => " Theory of Dietrich Bonhoeffer"
(Bonhoeffer's "Stupidity" explains why so many professed Christians are following the dictates of the unholy Roman Church, rather than Christ Jesus.)

“Stupidity is a more dangerous enemy of the good than malice. One may protest against evil; it can be exposed and, if need be, prevented by use of force. Evil always carries within itself the germ of its own subversion in that it leaves behind in human beings at least a sense of unease. Against stupidity we are defenseless. Neither protests nor the use of force accomplish anything here; reasons fall on deaf ears; facts that contradict one’s prejudgment simply need not be believed – in such moments the stupid person even becomes critical – and when facts are irrefutable they are just pushed aside as inconsequential, as incidental. In all this the stupid person, in contrast to the malicious one, is utterly self satisfied and, being easily irritated, becomes dangerous by going on the attack. For that reason, greater caution is called for when dealing with a stupid person than with a malicious one. Never again will we try to persuade the stupid person with reasons, for it is senseless and dangerous.”

If we truly and fully obey the law of loving our Maker , all other laws required will be naturally adhered to.

They all should have been taken from stone and inscribed upon the tablets of out hearts, that is upon the flesh.

Well, you have to pray for them. Words won’t get it done.

Well, you have to pray for them. Words won’t get it done.
Well sure !! We need to be pray for people to WAKE UP !! ... and become AWARE to God and His Will.
Words sent to some folks, who are "seeking" are needed concerning this, AS WELL AS, efforts, actions and an example ( a Christian example ) sent to these folks, thinking they are serving the Creator God, but are actually being deceived, by Satan, to serving themselves and the world.

Bonhoeffer also said, "Stupid people are dangerous and damaging because reasonable people find it difficult to imagine and understand unreasonable behavior" "This is as true in the church as in the world. So those who would lead must first demonstrate they can manage their own households well. They must make intelligent choices that benefit others as well as themselves, ethical choices, showing that they are servants of all."

So! Mr. Burn1986, Would you have any constructive advice as to " How to wake people up from being self-deluded", less STUPID, concerning their "Christianity" as Bonhoeffer states, "reasoning ... (can be) is senseless and dangerous" as 10s of millions of Christians these last 2000 years found out, by being killed for their beliefs by the Roman Church, ( antichrist spirit) when "trying to reason" with them. Actually they weren't even trying to reason, ... The universal world church actually came after them, found them and said, either do it our way, "convert" from God's Way to the Antichrist way, or be tortured and/or die.

Please help :) ~~~~> God Blesses those who do His Will ... Amen !
