Thank you, no. Too much stress. I will be either a bombardier with water balloons or supply line manager rounding up additional pillows and sending them to the front lines.

WOT.

Ok Cat, now you're crossing the line!

This is a PILLOW fight, not a WATER BALLOON fight.

I mean, do you REALLY want to see what happens if we let @Snackersmom loose with an arsenal of water balloons???

I don't think so.

I'm already in the doghouse with Snackers...

I don't want to wind up as a drowned rat on top of it.

That depends on your character build. Anybody who has played RPGs knows there are many different fightning styles. Your "sword & board" is one viable option, but there are many others.

Some people prefer two-handed swords, like my preferred bollard pillow. Can't wield those one-handed. Some prefer ranged attacks with a lot of small projectile pillows. Some prefer a "tower shield" strategy with body pillows they can hold in front of them to defend all attacks until they are close enough to pounce on the opponent and wrap him up in the massive pillow.

If you think your sword & board style is the only style, you are my favorite dish. People who consider their preferred style to be the only viable option are the easiest to take out, because they never see the best attacks coming from other styles.
If you paid attention you would know that I have been developing strategies for a number of people according to their strengths and weaknesses. You will probably be a good field commander and artillery leader.
@Lynx, I would certainly never underestimate @Cameron143, especially in this particular battle.

From reading his posts, he's obviously shrewd, cunning, and calculating -- and, perhaps most formidable of all, patient. I mean, look at how long he waited just to answer this thread -- simply because he's been observing and measuring up all the other fighters, one by one, this entire time.

You can just tell from what he writes that he's waiting for JUST THE RIGHT MOMENT -- to unleash the awesome!!

And we're all going to be taught a lesson -- or three.

If there's a pillow-fighting ninja in this thread, you can bet it has to be Cameron.

Now all we have to do is find out if he's a Teenage Mutant Turtle.

And, how he feels about pizza.

I'm all in on pizza. I just assumed there would be a pizza party after the pillow fight.

We definitely like the way you think!

Winners will be invited to enjoy the spoils of all-you-can-eat pepperoni and sausage pizza:

Losers will have to somehow console themselves with the pineapple pizza:

(Unless, of course, an arm-wrestling match breaks out over who gets the pepperoni and sausage pizza...)

Which could lead into our next Epic Singles Forum Fight!

Stay tuned.

The Pillow Maker has just taken off from Forth Pillow. It’s carrying the mother of all pillows which will be delivered onto the pillow fields shortly.

Well then you'd better bring your best pillow and your A-Game and play for keeps! 😬

The way @Snackersmom is whopping and @Cameron143 is stratege-i-cizing, the rest of us are ALL going to be left staring down that pineapple 🍍 pizza 🍕. 😳
I'll just stop somewhere to get a bite on the way home. Y'all can have the pineapple pizza.

Naturally. Why do you think I'm staying behind the front lines, bombarding and running supply lines? I ain't stupid and I ain't getting up on the front lines.

You have my sympathy. It's never good to have a fart forced outta ya :cautious:.
I suspected that my fart filled pillow wouldn't be a very effective weapon because my farts don't stink. :(
