The US government needs a FBI office bigger than the Pentagon.
They need a place where they can bring in thousands of Americans, interrogate them, threaten them and even torture them, and turn them into spies on their fellow Americans. Some people simply need a small financial incentive to do this, 30 pieces of silver, but some of the best snitches need a more forceful program to encourage them. This will put a stop to the whistleblowers revealing the corruption.

The FBI needs to justify their budget by finding domestic terrorists. They will soon label Evangelical Christians and all Conservative Christians as domestic terrorists.
They will infiltrate these churches with spies, not new members but people they have coerced into being snitches, and then use local law enforcement to make the arrest. This way the claim is they are not turning the FBI into the Gestapo, rather they are empowering local law enforcement to deal with crime.
You may argue that you haven't done anything wrong, but you are not considering that the FBI has a quota they must meet to justify their budget and your crime is not making it easier for them to call you a criminal.
