Here it is.
It's not in the world.
But it's real, and in here.
I can see it without closing my eyes.
It's what God gave me.
I didn't know if I'd inherit it.
I was trapped in there with it.
I didn't feel my own flesh.
I was living in my mind,
but I hardly reigned over it.
I wasn't reigning.
I was searching.
I scrolled through the truth I knew.
I recited the letter,
in the worldly language,
and the enemy always corrupted them.
But I knew the truth.
My spirit saw it, felt it.
But I didn't think I had it.
Then the self-awareness struck.
I saw my mind perform my will.
I remembered that I had a will,
and that my body belongs to me.
I let go of my mind,
and stretched out my spirit,
throughout my bones,
and to my skin.
I felt with my body,
like Adam,
Noah,
Abraham,
David,
and Christ did,
every small ache and spot of heat,
beleath the hairs that sensed the air,
and saw the subtle textures of physical objects,
with my physical eyes.
I noticed every little ray of light and shadow,
and tasted the saliva in my own mouth.
My feet felt the floor I stood on,
an my fingers sensed the object I was touching.
My spirit within me didn't go away,
and I still upheld the righteous law with the fruit of my flesh,
and begun to take all things as inspiration for the kingdom of Heaven,
and learned to thank God,
for all that he had made.
It's not in the world.
But it's real, and in here.
I can see it without closing my eyes.
