Yes long distance takes more work at times compared to next door ! But also can bring some safety.
For now as with all people I meet . Friendship is the focus .
What God had planned we can only imagine
 
Agreed lol !!! But can be safe too as all conversation is seen by all so not likely to cross boundaries .
 
If/ when you comfortable there are alternatives like WhatsApp
