Oh I don't know about meat grossing one out after a while. I went vegetarian for a summer (not by choice, the meat ran out and there was no money to buy more ), and by the end of that summer I wanted nothing more than a nice juicy steak! The only time meat grosses me out is the day after butchering . I'm such a meat and gravy and potatoes gal that it isn't funny. I'd die if I had to live without meat.
